I should add it here too. If the outfit has it's own slider group, you may still need to add it to the SuperHeroBody group to get your sliders.

This will now house the rest of my SHB Conversions too. As, Fallout has been modded several times, it is now becoming very unstable. Even with my low mod count and a new character. This means, many of the new conversions may not have pictures. Feel free to add some for your fellow players to see.

    Thank you.

hey, so glad i found you, i was dying to get some more conversions for SHB; buttttt..
i just don't know how to use the B.A.E tool, im trying to use your conversion for the Fallout 3 Vault Suit and the Merc Outfit Pack by Thefriedturkey but idk how to work the tool
so - what exactly do i do to make this work?
also, if i want to make it so my SHB sliders effect only my player, how do i do that?
as in; i only want the body sliders to be applied to my player and no random npcs who have the same outfits on etc.

Hello there!! Let me help ya. So on how to use B.A.E you just open b.a.e and drop the BA2 file into it. Make a folder of the mod you are trying to get the meshes from. It should create folders for you to place in your game directory. Any files created by bodyslide will replace those as they are now told by the game they exist as a file and not a package. As for having your character being the only one effected, the only way for that to happen is with another mod that separates your character's nif from the others. If you have this, the hard part with come next which would be for you to build the preset you what you want and manually drop it in the correct folder and then rebuild it back to whatever the rest of the males will have. The only one I know of is unique player https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3718 as I just have one body preset that is close to vanilla but I changed a few things to make them less boxy.

im not actually sure i understood most of that; i think i do but im not actually sure
is there any way you could do a visual tutorial? as in a recording of the process? or is that asking too much
especially confused about uniqueplayer; i have the mod downloaded but i dont know what folder that goes to
basically if you could make a brief video that shows what to do for all this; that would be a god send and soo needed i need this so bad lmao
i honestly might even donate to you like a simp if you could do that for me; for real

OH!! Haha!! No need to donate. I do not know too much about unique player but I do know it creates folders in your meshes folder the game chooses to load instead of the regular folders. I have not used it as I do not mind the enemies using my preset. On B.A.E, it might be easier to put it step by step.

      1.Download the mod
      2.Make a folder called B.A.E (If it didn't already)
3.Unpack the mod in that folder
4.Create a folder of the mod you are going to get the meshes from Ex. Fallout Vault Suit
5.If the mod is a zip file, open it so you can see the BA2 file
6.Click on B.A.E Application It should open up a plain white box that says drag the archive here. Drag the Mod BA2 file there
7.Press extract and choose the folder you made.
8.When it is done, move the mesh file into your game mesh file, as in merge them not put it just in there as a mesh folder. (wherever steam put the game) In the data folder.
9.Then build the outfit in Bodyslide, it will use that mew mesh file as a reference.

embarassingly enough, i still somehow cannot REMOTELY follow this even though you laid it out step-by-step - it still makes absolutely no sense
i somehow cannot understand any of this

before your steps; i already have these outfit packs i want to add SHB functionality for downloaded via Vortex and enabled that way

        - Capital Wasteland Outfit Pack by TheFriedturkey
        - Fallout 3 Vault Suit by TheFriedturkey
        - Merc Outfit Pack by TheFriedturkey

they are available in game etc but not yet viewable in BodySlide at this point - cause i hadn't installed your conversions yet [obviously]

so, from there now here's how i went through your provided steps:

      1.
so you first say download the mod; you mean your mod (the SHB conversion)? i assumed you meant your conversion mod and not a 'Manual Download' of the original outfit/outfit packs mod - so i downloaded 3 of the conversion mods you have posted here (corresponding to the ones im trying to convert, obviously) with a Vortex download and installed/enabled them.

these are the mods of yours i then downloaded; i am pretty sure they are the correct conversions that correspond to the mods i listed above, and are listed again (as you named them) below in corresponding order :

        - 'Capital Wasteland Outfit Pack SHB'
        - 'FO3 Vaultsuit Outfits'
        -' CW Merc Pack'

after i downloaded and installed/enabled your conversions using a Vortex download ; upon curiosity i checked the BodySlide tool and i found that now i can actually see the outfits in the list when in BodySlide; but none of the BodySlide presets were available + the textures were weird/scuffed for most of them but we're early on so i just assumed  "yeaH,thAt makes sense"

but from there thrgfjndsfk i have no f***ing idea what you meant like actually

      2.
what do you mean make a folder called "B.A.E (if it didnt already)"
where?? what folder?>??????F?EDG/??? how could it have made a folder??? where should that 'B.A.E' folder even be??!!?

      https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/658164904288583692/869096136277901392/unknown.png
                                                                                     ^
^as you can see in this screenshot above i have the B.A.E tool downloaded and this is its'  folder i made for it where i have the B.A.E .exe installed.

do you mean this folder in the ss??????????? if so, WHERE in this folder? directly along with the B.A.E exe/Qt5 dll's??? inside the 'Platforms' sub-folder??? did you mean make an entirely new folder titled 'B.A.E'??? DO YOU MEAN FOR THAT NEW FOLDER TO BE IN THIS FOLDER????? OR NO, NOT IN THIS FOLDER; on my DESKTOP??? NO, IN MY FALLOUT 4 GAME DIRECTORY? IF SO WHERE IN THE GAME DIRECTORY?????????????TEG IKHNSDL ANYdrewdtWrweERE????? i have no idea... i ahuirejfdks gi  ihabve ii have no f***ing idea whats going on and im not even done with the SECOND step LMAO

I CANT EVEN UNDERSTAND FOR SURE IF I DOWNLOADED ANYTHING PROPERLY WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!

yeah no i cant even continue, i   L I T E R A L L Y  couldn't even start.. i really need to see this whole process visually or be directly spoken through it like you're watching me

      so just instead;
      assume i have nothing:

      >not the original mods (FO3 Vault Suit/Merc Pack/CW Pack),
      >not your SHB conversions,
      >not the B.A.E tool
      >and definitely do not assume i have a brain!!

and then i basically need you to explain everything from scratch and i mean like everything because i understand nothing .

this comment response should clearly indicate that i currently have zero brain intellectual function happening - my brain hamster is running in reverse right now. WITH CLEATS ON!!   A T    F U L L     S P E E D !! $RJOKRM<

can u PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASe just make like a 2 min clip of you downloading everything and activating it in the order/procedure required
it really doesnt even need commentary, i just need to see something to follow then ill be good forever on this

orrrr maybe what would be better is if you have discord you can add me there?? (mine is jimmaye#6969 <exactly like that)

you can call with me on there (you dont actually have to talk, you can mute your mic) and i can share my screen to you so you can see what im doing and tell me what to do - you can mute yourself and type back in the the discord dms chat if you don't want to talk aloud even but please help me in a way i can understand because i am TOTALLY and UTTERLY lost but i NEED to do this i just have to find out how

also, the UniquePlayer SHB skeleton per outfit s*** is a different animal, forget about that for now cause i cant even add the conversions correctly let alone control if it only affects my player so that's WAYYY off when i have my first or maybe even SECOND brain cell developed fully..

oh god im going insane over a fallout body mod why am i so stubborn why cant i just give up and fall asleep or something LMAOO

Oh Dear. You only use B.A.E on the original mods. The conversions just install as normal as you did. And I believe I have it on the front page if not the file description, you need to add them to the SHB group. As for a video, I have nothing to capture the footage with that is why I am telling you exactly what to do here. You will either have to ask the modder of B.A.E, or search the internet for a guide on both (Unique player) mods. I do not play this game or do much modding so I cannot see what is not modded for me. As all modders do this for free, please do not come in here and berate me for not holding someone's hand when there is a search engine with guides. Thank you and happy gaming.

Edit: My apologies, it is literally the first sticky post here from August 2020. This is not me dismissing you either, this is me letting you know, there are resources out there that have done what you are asking for. Enjoy the game as we are on here to enjoy games.

All finished!! For some reason Special Forces would not show up in game for me. IE not in the ID list but the BS files are there. Let me know if they work. For the Survivalist Armor, I had to make a new character as my old Characters are highly modded thus crash city. Let me know if that one works too.

Not for all outfits however, if you do not get the meshes from the BA2, nothing will be built in bodyslide. So all the mods that only install a "main" BA2 will only give you Vanilla meshes because BS will not know where to put them. You can try it without if you so please. If it works, seems fine then.
