7 Jan 2020: Added FOMOD installer as the default download. Individual downloads remain of course. I didn't organize the FOMOD as well as I could, but given how many files there are and how many clicks are involved, I'm pretty happy with the results.
Let me know if the FOMOD installer doesn't work for you and what DID get installed when you ran it, and I'll look into it!
JFC. This is the best advice I've ever found. Bit of a necro reply but thanks - I originally used DEF UI but after the fuster-cluck of dealing with making all these addons work together I switched to FALLUI and all of it's additional components - They look pretty good too!
Just started trying to use an type of mods for Fallout 4 through Vortex so you'll have to bare with me. Used the MOD installer been put into my load order and deployed but does not work. I am only using vanilla HUD so I shouldn't have any conflicts from that end. Wondering if I didn't do something correctly. So like I said I'm green at this so your help would be appreciative.
Forgot to mention I used the 50-5 file, also running game version 10.984.
Thank you for including the instructions on how to do it ourselves in the description. I use DEF UI and HUD Framework, and I was able to make the changes myself because of your instructions.
Probably due to operator error, I can't get the mod to work. I use vortex, Def UI and HUD Framework. When I finally get rid of the repeating error message (by using HUD Framework's auto patcher on this folder's hudmenu.swf) all I get is the usual two-notifications, not five.
This mod was loaded last, overwriting any of the other mods prior to it.
Any tips for those that got everything working together?
Im worried that, now that the annoying message will go by faster thankfully, the more important ones will be easier to miss. Like settlements being under attack or a companion needs healing etc. Is there a way to target which messages go by faster/stay around longer?
Is there any way to remove only the messages from scrapping? I already know what items I will recieve when I scrap items using the workbench because it tells you that, the added confirmation was just plain unnessessary, and it really starts to become a problem when you scrap 10 items at once or more. It would be great to have no notifications for items being added to inventory except for caps.
I downloaded ffdec_12_0_1, labeled 'lastest stable', however the p_code section is unclickable. I have no idea other that I dont want to download 145 prior releases in the hope that one works :) Can anyone tell me what version I should using?
Thanks
Update: can click pcode and edit p-code, but still no sign of 'push' no matter where I click, instead a warning that editing these values wont be enough
Lifesaver. Thanks for this, it fixes having to press E when starting a new game for me. The message queue was evidently too large. I used VIS-G's swf and made those changes you outlined, will use as a standalone mod.

Yes, I know necro post but had to post it anyway. To express my thankful support instead of being frustrated.
