Sadly, I just found a new bug that bricks your game at the title screen when starting a new game. You'll get stuck on the screen telling you that mods are enabled and achievements will be disabled.
Honestly, do all of yourselves a massive favour and use Fallout 1 and 2 Main Menu Music in conjunction with this mod. I can't recommend enough putting them both together!!
I don't know why but for me the mod just doesn't work. I installed manually, put the files in the right places (Ibelieve). Here is where I put the files:
Music: Fallout 4/Data/Data/Music/Special
Video: Fallout 4/Data/Data/Video
This is where I put the files and I even replaced the default background main menu. Now when I launch the game it doesn't show the menu-background instead just a black screen with the Main Menu's buttons. Anyone can help me up please ?
should look like this instead; Music: Fallout 4/Data/Music/Special Video: Fallout 4/Data/Video you don't want Data/Data. any mod installed manually with it's own Data folder, the contents inside THAT folder goes into Fallout 4/Data. makes sense? you can just drag that mod Data folder into the Fallout 4 folder and that should place the content automatically.
I absolutely love this and I know I sadly won't get a response to this problem, but for some reason the music almost never plays and instead is pretty much always the default theme. It's fine visually, it's just the music. Immediately after reinstalling the mod it will work, but then it'll revert back the next time I launch the game. I'm usually a lot of mods but nothing that would interfere with this one; I do have the skip intro parameter set but I can't imagine how that would affect it.
I've had that issue, unfortunately the only way I've fixed it was by deleting all my mods and reinstalling the game. Hopefully there's a simpler way of fixing it. I think it might have to do with if you've installed multiple main menu replacers over time, the game or mod manager gets confused and reverts to the default file, I don't know for certain tho cuz it seems like people get this issue on this mod more than other main menu replacers so it might be an issue on my part
This mod is awesome! Would it be possible to have a version that plays the entirety of the song, instead of a 30 second clip? Either way, thanks for making this mod.
Love this. Was trying out different main menu replacers, and as soon as I saw this one fade in with "Maybe" and the TV I felt like I was playing modern fallout 1 aha.
