Greatly enjoying this mod so far as an all-in-one package. I think this is going to become an essential part of my load order. However I feel like all limbs, head and torso still don't cripple easily enough. The holy grail would be to also include a simple bleeding system that causes every hit taken to incur stackable bleeding effect, but can never incur multiple bleedings in the same limb, and without inflicting any direct health damage.

This a damn good mod to keep installed alongside a universal damage multiplier for a more frantic and fair experience. Not needing to worry about health scaling has made firefights a much more rewarding experience but also makes firefights with heavily armoured enemies an event sometimes worth avoiding.

Out of curiosity, how would you go about introducing a simplified version of BLD's helmet threshold system? That's a feature I liked about BLD, minus all the annoying incompatibilities with modded items.

To be perfectly honest I probably won't continue developing this in a dedicated fashion. But if you like the approach you can instead use the Combat module of Damn Apocalypse, which is functionally near 100% equivalent.

      > Can you upload images or videos

      Showing what?

      > Is an install kill?

Not automatically, but most humanoid NPCs will drop from one or two shots to the head, depending on what you're shooting them with.

      > this affects all npcs

Not directly (see description page) but yes.

~Cant edit my other comment idk y~
Looked through your BPD changes and theyre (far) off for what youre trying to do. Id take a look at my mod for reference https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/41419

Some fixes: Your numbers are higher than vanilla on arms and legs, you end up doing more damage to limbs, having ~3 shots to the toe kill. missing immersion.
Your health percents are too high, looking at humans you have it set for 22 shots to cripple a leg or an arm, and with how high youve set the mults theyll die long before any crippling occurs.
Reference points: If you compare our esps mine is set for limbs to take a fraction of the total health damage (ie you wont be able to kill by hitting limbs) but they still cripple in ~3 shots, yours is set to deal a large percentage of the hp and cripple after death, doesnt match the description!
Some of the titles under BPD are confusing/misleading, I can help a bit if you would like

Understood. I may fix that for this mod in a few weeks. Honestly I wasn't sure what I was doing precisely when editing those records. It mostly feels correct though.

Was just letting you know since your description says one thing but your esp does another, damage mult acts multiplicatively on the health bar, but additively on health percent, so the way yours is set hitting an arm does as much as hitting the chest, and you would never cripple. I have mine set to 3 shots to cripple, not sure if thats what you were aiming for, but your description reads similar to mine so I was assuming you wanted where you hit them to matter, ie limbs for crippling head for killing, but its set for anything to kill anywhere and 20-30 shots to cripple.
I think you got confused by health percent, it ISNT the % max hp of an npc, its an additive value of damage mult

I havent used the mod or seen how it plays with your other changes, was just letting you know from a purely numbers standpoint the esp doesnt match the description

I've been a long time user of the Unbogus Overhaul and have been looking for a mod like this, as sometimes the overhaul is a little too taxing on my system. Thank you! I intend to give it a try and see how it compares, but any info on whether it is harder/easier or basically the same?

From the creator : A fair warning: I've been playing FPS games since Wolf3D back in '92 and the balance with this is just barely bearable for me personally. It might be really damn hard or just plain challenging for you. Be aware that not engaging in combat or coming back later with better gear might become a good idea. A lot of creatures (Deathclaws, high-level Legendaries...) have high potential of one-hitting the player.

      Enjoy ;)

It's balanced to our personal tastes here at Bearington Labs. We like having to figure out strategies and trying different things to overcome obstacles, including combat - expect to die a lot. Upside is, a well-timed critical can actually turn around a fight, headshots with large-caliber rifles kill most enemies with one or two hits.

I did not use any mod that changes weapon damage output when putting this together. So if you have such a mod that would probably make it worse.

Thanks for the reply :) I did read the description and warning, but by the features described it sounded more or less in line with the overhaul, hence the question. I did play with the mod installed a little bit, and felt like the balance is similar; it also didn't lag my system. Which means this mod is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you very much!

Another difficulty is to increase the level of Adamantium Skeleton Rank. The more stars you have, the easier it will be, the less likely you will be to be desperate in battle, and the lower your medical bills.
