Now this is a useful mod. I mean sure: I could just use the workshop mode when I'm in a settlement, but sometimes I like to decorate other places. Or a mod gives you a home/base that's not actually a settlement. Many thanks.
Love this mod, being using it for ages now. Is there a way to edit the "packer" list so I can change the positions of items, or is it possible to add a "Stack & Sort" feature? Say I have a pile of Caps Tins and want to stack them all neatly on top of each other, or food items etc'. That would be amazing ;). Many thanks.
Thanks so much for this mod; have used it in my playthroughs a lot, its really nice to be able to place things exactly where I want them and make it look certain way, and be able to take them, too, without them being knocked all over the place.
Hey, Dylbill Timer is much too short. 4 seconds, than always switch back and forth with pipboy tab key. If a lot of things have fallen down on a table, it would be good to have a holotape option for different times. Or at least 12seconds? Is it possible to make them static?
Hey, how I use it is favorite the aid item, that way it's easy to use over again. I could add a config item though to config the timer. I'm not sure about making them static but I'll look into it.
Ok I uploaded a new version that adds a config aid item where you can choose how long the effects last, or set it to toggle, where they will last until you use the aid item again. I also added new aid items that allows you to turn objects into statics and back into dynamic/movable items.
Hey, Dybill ........ ! This is phantastic. Not only for Turn Objects a configurable timer, even for static and dynamic too. Never would have expected this. Also things in the workshop stay vanilla and no bugs, as seen so far. Now it's possible to get unmoveable things happen without the way to bat files.
So much fun - throwing things around and turn up back again. I am such a playaroundchild
Thanks a lot ! This is an unbreakable feature for now and next time game will start again.
PS. Funny thought in between - I'll build a table, put everything necessary on it, then run along the table and put everything back. What fun. But only by the way another thought, if I could do, I would make a tabula rasa animation.
The animation thing about, only was a crazy thought.
Tabula rasa is a rewritable wax coated writing board from earlier times, so you can wipe or scrape off the wax and write again. Or a synonymous common used figure of speech mostly for to sort things out, sometimes taken philosophic, or to make clean table to put things on it again.
Meanwhile comes to mind, would it be possible to save the items put on table inside pipboy, to have them back in an easy way. Maybe with a bat file done with Turn Objects Up in the background and to be created automatic in main folder, to save the whole table scenario, hovered with the cursor, and to bring back the saved scenario inside pipboy? Without blueprints, or presets that have to be load with recommend mods beside on game start.
Sometimes I wonder about myself that I came up with these ideas Hope my English isn't so bad.
Ok I uploaded a new version that adds an item called Item Packer which allows you to mark loose objects to link them to the item packer, and adds a lot of options to afffect said items. Such as store them in you inventory quickly and later remove them from your inventory where they will snap back to their original locations, or relative position based on the packer's position an angle. For more info you can choose the info option from the menu in game.
Activating Item Packer in pipboy [ Diverses - Miscellaneous ] there’s only E) and the message - Du kannst diesen Gegenstand nicht ausrüsten - I do have german fo4 - You can not equip this item - as called in english version? I don't know.
Ingame, hovered and tried with same and others as shown in images gallery. Item Packer E) Take - is ok R) Pack Options - does not appear.
Item Packer would be better together with the other in categories aid and called Turn Item Packer, or something similar. And/or a version with the feature [ *, +, ', ², ", 0,1,2,3, -, #, -=,.... to get faster access ;) ] to be sorted on top of inventory list for all 'Turn' - entries.
Example in order 00-Turn Item Packer -=Turn Item Packer=- *Turn Item Packer* -Turn Item Packer- I hope that's true with this example sorting .............
If the R option isn’t showing up, it means there’s a conflict with another mod that also uses perk entry points on items. I made the packer an item so that you can have them in multiple locations, and each one can store different items. You can also take one, place it somewhere else and choose the place items relative option to place its stored items in a new location
Ooouutsch ....... and i was hoping my installed mods would not have any conflicts ever. Always had a hand on it Will have a look for, means - I do not have an idea which other is the one disturbing. For inbetween, some music https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gqCCAb8xbw Slade - Far Far Away (1974) 'till I've found this rebutting one .......... [ text in video may confuse people, not involved into musics past days. ]
.......... could take some time. Means too, more than ever wanted. Otherwise Turn Objects Up 1.1 works wonderfully. Thank you!
The Slade, The Sweet, Suzi Quatro, The Sparks .... - mostly called BubbleGum music. Because music begins smooth and cozy in their 'manor' and will end up in a pop, like ballons pop. So Pop music was born, in short. Led Zeppelin, DeepPurple, BlackSabbath, Steve Miller Band ..... - called Hard Rock, because music falling down like sparkles from heaven, this for ultra short So it rocks like a swing in later, early days.
At the moment i do not have any idea, which mod has this 'hidden' function. Only thing is to deaktivate one after the other to find out, oouugh. I think, it must be one of the 'build' mod .......
Is there no way bypass the 'perk entry points' on items for your mod?
You will surprise as always, I'm sure. Suggestion A bag from pipboy inventory with no weight for items pulled into it and grab bag back to inventory, somehow like a container. Or a SendTo option for items reachable all over and every player home, settlement for the bag or container, somehow like workbench mods switched together, so everything can be build in places where there are not all things buildable.
A great and much needed concept. However (for me) it was not user-friendly, as I often moved cursor or clicked something...displacing the table(object) sitting the items upon. I'm sure you addressed this in the description, (must be that "aid" option)? But I never really was able to figure out what I was doing or not doing in getting all the inconsistencies? Regrettably had to uninstall it (just because I could never figure it out) ha ...But it is a good mod.
Yes, I really liked/appreciated your mod so much, (knowing it was just me who was messing myself up), so I downloaded V1.0 And My I do enjoy it. It works very simple for me. I hot-keyed it to one of the FO4 base favorites key and now simply clk key and all the things sit-up "wa-La"! p.s. made a small donation (just to show my sincerity and appreciation). Also, using solar-Lights (I think you created), also very good an simple!
I LOVE this idea. I can't tell you how much time I've lost in the game trying to arrange things at the homestead, just have them easily knocked over and otherwise disrupted. This will allow me to straighten things up as quickly as they get knocked over. Thanks!
Woohoo! When I'm home, I can hotkey it and become an obsessive neat freak! Heck, I can become a neat freak anywhere. Straighten up the whole Commonwealth!
@ Richwizard @ CountVoo ......... To move objects, maybe already known, but here for short: -click in console onto object - then type player.placeatme [object code] - this will spawn an item or NPC nearby your char. - object code - has to be typed.
Create a txt file named - setangle - (or named you want, for bat the same too) into your main Fallout folder. - then type in console - bat setangle - and object will move the way you gave the - 0 - different numbers. - example - setangle z 500, rotates the object horizontally.
Bat Textfile should look like this:
;console - type bat setangle ( ; only for comment, will not affect setangle x,y,z, without ; will do) setangle x 0 setangle y 0 setangle z 0
It's a little bit tricky to find different angles, but just as easy Main thing for me, that setangle z .... or with the x,y - you will see.
Hey I just uploaded a new version that adds an aid item that allows you to turn objects into statics, so you never have to worry about them being knocked over again!
Elianora would LOVE the static conversion feature. She puts shelves and tables in her mods full of static items because she hates settlers and companions knocking the stuff over.
You know what would be an awesome idea? If when you hover over a loot item you would get an automatic "zoom" of the item with name and materials info, like a real-time 3D image of the item (like when you click "inspect" on an item inside the Pip-Boy.
It would be like the equivalent to grabbing an item and approaching it to your face for proper inspection before looting.
Hey, I'm not sure if I can do that as I have no way to edit swf files, but you should check out Hud Plus Plus, which displays a lot more info about items when hovering over them.
