I'm all for minimalist UIs but they need to draw the eye to the important information without cluttering up the screen. This does't do that. In fact its barely noticeable. I'd try changing the colour, and perhaps make the health and AP bars a little bit bigger. Not too much, just enough to read them in a glance rather than having to squint.
