Love the mod, doing my first winter playthrough, so thanks for this!
Is there any chance you might make a patch for the mod "Rebuild the Castle" (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/71201)? This mod allows you to fix the castle, but can't be used with this mod, because of conflicting changes.
Hey man, did you ever figure out a fix? For me, I'm having issues with Sim Settlements, WR, and PRP compat patches. Don't know what the load order should be.
Putting PRP-Compat-UIL before Winter Redone - UIL seemingly fixed it in the building, but then i noticed Diamond City had broken precombines. Couldn't fix those without removing winter redone, not sure what other mod i have touching the diamond city worldspace but can't be asked to look for it. The load order with the UIL fix i just described should be as close to the ideal load order (at the bottom of your mod list)
Like many, I also had the interior cells flickering/turning invisible. Ended up disabling the Winter Redone PRP and it's working great. No issues with framerate, flickering, or missing textures. Even in downtown Boston, my framerate sits at the hard limit of 75 (old monitor) and I have only a moderately powerful rig. Fantastic mod, love the work that went into it, but maybe look into that PRP patch. Something's not getting along, even when it is ordered prp>winter redone>winter redone prp. Little bit of frustration, but the mod is absolutely worth it. I will update if I come across an area where the broken precombines actually cause a problem.
Love this mod so much! Also to anyone experiencing flickering of textures inside interior cells, put this mod toward the bottom of your load order. (Set the esp to a group name lower down the chain with a higher number, then 'sort now' to initialize it.)
Awesome mod! However I am fairly new to this and am having an issue... How do I increase my texture render distance? Past a certain distance the snow disappears and goes back to grass. I am unsure how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
If you are using BethIni (which I recommend, it's better than default game settings), there should be LOD distance settings, in the "view distance" tab. You can play around those slides and see which one works best for you. I generally just have my setting on the right side in that tab preset as "High", but I have beefy video card, so it can handle it, and it looks good. But if you have anything lower than 4000 series Nvidia/etc, then you might have to finagle the slides personally and get the result you desire for the best buck of performance.
Hey Flecked, so I'm trying to create compatibility patches for personal use for mods that add their own interiors - do you happen to have any documentation for what keyword you should use with what static object ID? Figured I'd ask as it would be incredibly helpful to know what placed objects require the material swap so I can clear out pesky interior snow.
I found a flickering textures and objects in Fiddler's Green Trailer Estates, everything is fine, except Fiddler's Green Trailer Estates. Can you update it?
