About this mod

Makes ranged weaponry and ammo significantly less plentiful, adding more use to melee weapons. Inspired by the Melee World mod by BacteriophageBS.

Makes ranged weaponry and ammo significantly less plentiful, adding more use to melee weapons. Inspired by the Melee World mod by BacteriophageBS.

In more detail what this does is:

1. Add a chance for ranged weapons to not spawn 

2. Make all enemies actually use ammo

3. Make ammo much more scarce

4. Automatic weapons spawn more rarely than semi automatics

5. Ranged weapons and ammo are significantly more expensive

6. Ranged weapons are also more deadly to compensate for how costly they can be to use

7. Robots also use up ammo for most of their weapons

8. Almost all enemies now spawn with a melee weapon as a backup in case they either run out of ammo or are unlucky enough to not spawn with a gun

[Update 3.0]

9. Automatrons and Companions use ammo and must be kept supplied if you want them to use their guns

10. Companions now all have melee weapons to fall back on

11. Turrets are a good source of ammo if you can stop them from using it all first

12. Robots and Turrets armed with energy weapons do NOT run out of ammo

I highly recommend this mod if you're using Whispering Hills. I've been using it and it's a terrifying combination.
