The file path in the current version of PMC (3.0 as well as 3.0.2 Hotfix) is different than the one in the 2k Texture set here. This means that the file cannot be installed directly as a replacer/override. What needs to be done is the following:
1. Manually download PMC v3.0 and extract it. 2. Manually download the 2k Texture set and extract it. 3. Open the folder where you extracted the 2k Texture set and navigate to the texture files, the path looks like this: textures\Tital\Danny\ Inside should be two folders (Custom and Gloves) and 29 files. Select and copy everything EXCEPT the Custom folder (for whatever reason the files in it are larger than the ones in PMC v3.0) 4. Open the folder where you extracted PMC v3.0 and navigate to the texture files, the path looks like this: textures\Tital\PMC\ Paste the files you copied from the 2k Texture Set here; if done right you'll be asked whether you wish to overwrite 32 files (29 + 3 inside the Gloves folder) - confirm overwrite; 5. Optional - for even better performance consider creating ba2 archives out of the loose files; 6. Whether you keep the files as loose or create ba2 archives you need to archive the whole PMC folder (turn it into a zip or 7z archive) so that it can be installed with a Mod Manager. (This is the reverse of extracting it in Step 1)
Thanks for your tips, yes, the file paths are different. But I don't think have to leave Custom folder, we'd better copy and paste them all, 2k texture doesn't mean every single part of it has to be smaller than 4k version
Hmmm? 29 files? 47 files should be replaced. Idk if thiz iz outdated.
But anywayz, just unpack the archives and drag everything from the Textures/Tital/Danny folder into the Textures/Tital/PMC folder and replace, and repack. Done.
If I'm doing a manual install, do I delete the Textures > PMC folder and then add youre mod in a new Textures > Danny folder? or Do I copy these files over any existing files in the Textures > PMC folder?
Really small suggestion: can you add "PMC" to the filename/mod name? In Vortex, it just shows up as "2K Textureset" and I can't tell what mod it belongs to if I go back and change out mods.

or
Do I copy these files over any existing files in the Textures > PMC folder?
Also, count me in for a 1K version.
I didn't know the textures were 4k, yet what should I have imagined because of the size of the files xD
