I am happy to add more weapons. It will depend on time and whether the original mod authors are happy with me altering and uploading their files.
let me know and I will list the ones I am working on here.
bugs: There will be some minor animation hiccups, They not too bad, and I feel that it is small compromise. These hiccups can be fixed by the original mod authors, a willing animator or if I learn to animate myself (might consider doing).
The hunting shotgun only load 5 shells in 3rd person. This because there currently isn't a 3rd person animation for reloading 8 shells. So reloading a second time is a workaround for the moment.
Currently Working on: Learning Blender
Next todo: (not necessarily in this order) Covadonga's Remington 870 Shotgun Benelli M3 Super 90 M1014 - A Standalone Shotgun Custom Mossberg590A1
From what I can see, the mod organizers do not always correctly install all the files.
If a mod isn't working then these are the steps I generally take.
1. Re-read the installation instruction, maybe I missed something? 2. compare the files in the mods archive file to what is in my Fallout 4 data folder. (This where you can find out if the mod organizers have missed something). 3. Try manually installing the mod. 4. Then I check for conflicts using FO4edit and create a patch if needed. 5. Check the posts and bugs section of the mod. and ask for help if needed.
If I get here and I really want the mod, I would delete\rename the Fallout 4 folder and start a fresh install. and just install what is necessary for that mod. But, so far I haven't needed to do that.
For anyone that hasn't figured it out already, the Rem92 Lever Action Shotgun uses right handed lever action animations. So technically it works with the patch here. All you would need to do is create .ini file in the BCR folder that is named after the Rem92 esp and paste it's ID in. Look at the other ini's for an example. Use FO4edit to find out the form ID.
The same applies to the Mossberg as it uses the Winchester animations. Just be sure to overwrite the meshes in the mossberg with the patch for the Winchester from here, and delete the reload script in the "Quests" section on FO4Edit.
Here is an important tip regarding the Ithaca shotgun if you are using the Doommerged weapon pack. To make the patch work the following needs to be done: First, delete the "doompumpshotgun.esp" in "Data" folder as well as the "doompumpshotgun.esp.ini" under the "Data/BCR" folder after you install the patch with NMM. These are for the single weapon, not the merged pack and therefore are redundant. Second, open the "doommerged.esp.ini" file under the BCR folder and change the line " weaponFormId_DOOMPumpShotgun=1DF" to "weaponFormId_DOOMPumpShotgun=A01DF". This is because the author had used a wrong item id in its original file and the whole thing would not work. After correcting the item id this patch would work as it should be. Anyway, thanks for what the authors had contributed and I hope everyone enjoys the patch and the game.
Okay, so I keep playing and discovered some fixes towards two more patches. First, to let the Krait6712 shotgun patch work correctly, you probably need to add "[Weapons]" in the first line of " Krait6712.esp.ini" file, just to let it have the same formality as other "esp.ini' files. Second, to make the hunting shotgun patch work correctly, you need to delete the "HuntingShotgun" folder under the pathway of "meshes/actors/character/animations". Plz notice that DO NOT delete the one under the "weapon" folder.
Is there a patch for 3rd person reload with NovaFinch's spas-12 from Combined Arms? It works fine in 1st person but in 3rd will only load a max of 4 shells. So of I fire all 8 it will only load 4, then I have to do it again unless I only reload in 1st person.
The patch file listed in the Files tab is outdated and will cause your game to instantly crash when reloading the Hunting Shotgun. Use this updated patch here instead.
I'm currently using the most recent version of the Hunting Shotgun with the new patch linked above.
Not sure what the problem is but the mosin patch lifts the gun up making it float after reloading in 1st person also when you go to reload you dont hold the bullet thats in the chamber down it just pops out making this mod completely pointless since the mods supposed to fix bad reloading animations that break immersion. no new gen patch.

The Mosin one, however, works well thank you.
