Just when I thought I was done with lighting mods, My Cart and company release their cool T-45 experimental light power armor. I couldn't resist & was fortunate to have some free time so here is the light mod for the T-45X helmet.
Added an optional file " T45 Headlamp Only" version for those of you who are experiencing pink textures on the visors. Make sure to uninstall the main file first, then install the optional headlamp only version. You might need to unequip then equip the helmet for the change to take effect. May be necessary to craft a new helmet as well.
Note: The original T-45X light power armor file does not come with textures. You need to download one of the texture packs on the files page here:
I can't get the other visor colours to work either. I can either use a glowing purple visor which seems to be the default when i craft the helmet, but everything else is a pitch black visor. I've switched my textures from 4k to 2k and i haven't noticed a difference. (Oddly enough the textures looked exactly the same as the 4k textures to me.)
We discussed this as a team and just haven't gotten to it yet, so we appreciate that you've made a plan a reality! This is fantastic! So glad that everyone is enjoying the work we are all doing!
My pleasure man, happy to contribute to the team. You guys have been on fire lately with all your current high quality releases. Keep up the good work.
Thanks a lot. I tried to do it myself but with no success. I am downloading it now. Edit: I like it so far. That said, it look like a texture is missing for the default visor. It is pink. I installed the black one so it is no biggy but seeing your character eyes was cool. Hope you can correct it.
I'm not having that problem with the transparent texture on my end. Things to try:
-pick a different color visor red, green or black, then switch back to default visor. See if that helps. The helmet when crafted is set to default visor transparent & default white/yellow light.
- I use the the t-45x light power armor standard textures (T-45x Light Power Armor-41005-2-0-1568401021.zip) from the original mod. This version has all the files in Ba2 archives. Are you using the 4k textures by any chance? The 4K version comes in unpacked loose files.
- the material file that handles the visor is located here: materials\armor\BazoongasWorkshop\T-45d\Visor.bgem make this file loose (game will read loose file before packed archive)
-move my mod lower in your plugin list
-reinstall the original t-45x light power armor mod version 2.0
I've replaced the original filewith the 4K file ,Repackaged into BA2,
But the Visor is still pink,
Even so, don't deny your work, praise mod ------------------------------------------------------------------ If you consider not changing the Visor,Add headlamp only version?
Thats too bad that it didn't work. I tested the mod thoroughly before releasing & I wasn't able to see any errors or wrong directory settings. Which mod managers are you using. I installed & tested the mod with Nexus Mod Manager 70.8.0. Try to download my mod through manual download. DONT use the download from manager.
I'll try to upload a "headlamp only with default transparent visor" version hopefully by tomorrow. Thanks for downloading & trying out the mod.
I used Nexus Mod Manager 0.65.2 ,I know it's a little old,But absolutely no problem,I have 249 mods,It's all loaded through it I always go to the website and download,Unused manage download (manage cannot log in),So I don't know what the problem is I even open Textures Main BA2,Load loose files, but still pink,Only expect not to change the Visor version

I have tried all the colors. The default is pink, all the others are deep black.
