    Wonderful mod, thanks for sharing. Trashcan Carla was stuck in Sanctuary with no brehmins, not continuing her travels. With this mod and the furry one you linked, all is good....

    The Brahmin stuck on the house with the crafting bench in sanctuary. It keeps happening even on a new game is there a fix for that lol.

    I don't know how, but Cricket's brahmin just gets killed again and again even with this mod installed. There is no conflict, it's protected but it keeps dying!? And no, of course I don't kill it.

      Huh, that's really odd... My first (and sorta obvious) suggestion is to move the mod as low as possible in your load order. If that doesn't fix it, tbh I'm not sure what's going wrong! iirc some area of effect hits can still kill protected NPCs so it's possible that might be killing it? It should still respawn after some time but if it's really bothering you the only thing I can suggest is to mark it as essential so it just doesn't die AT ALL.

      I can make an optional file that sets the brahmin as essential as a bit of a cheat option as a last resort if you'd like?

      Depending on what kind of enemy mods you have up, well, I know for a fact that Cricket insists on going right past the Supermutant infested building between the reservoir and Diamond City. I think that's your problem.

    I heckin' lub joo! I got so sad every time Clarabell accidentally got tenderised by a Missile Launcher-toting Super Mutant or some such and would immediately reload. And it always bothered me that Carla's brahmin was often one of the first you meet, yet had no freaking name! LONG LIVE DUMPSTER! >:D I legit laughed out loud when I read that name. It's *perfect*. Exactly what I imagine a smart-ass like Carla would name it.

      Carla's brahmin is named Delilah, and Lucas Miller's is 'Old Girl'. I don't know what Cricket's or Doc's brahmin are named, but all four caravan traders brahmin are named. But call 'em anything you want, I call Delilah lots of things, especially when I find her stuck in my Sole Survivor's bedroom!!! (he uses the workhouse in Sanctuary) Grrrrr!!

      Cricket's brahmin is called Spot, and Doc Weather's is called Idiot (rather mean name, but that's what she's called). Carla's brahmin is actually strangely unnamed in the vanilla game, I gave her the name Delilah in the default main file here since I just thought it was cute, and Dumpster was a requested name to match with the 'trashcan' theme in the optional file.

      Considering the personalities involved, could Trashcan Carla resist naming her Brahmin in that same theme?

    I installed the mod and after a while all trader brahmins seem to be gone!
    I met Carla and Lucas Miller - walking around alone.
    Deactivating the mod did not change that, so I kept it activated.
    Edit: Few hours later I met Carla AND her brahmin outside Sanctuary, in Sanctuary she is still alone.

      My mod shouldn't be having an effect on them like that. It sounds like something else, or a mod conflict. Check if you have anything else that makes changes to brahmin or animals and try adjusting your load order. Place my mod as low in your load order as possible so it overwrites any other mods that could be affecting the trade brahmins and see if that fixes it.

      It's just Installation Lag. The more mods you use, the longer it can take to integrate the next mod into the game engine.

    Can you make a script mod that prevents all brahmin from dying? I love cows and this mod is as close as it gets to what I wanted, thank you very much for that.
    Peaceful Yao Guais would also be nice, it never made sense to me why animals are so aggressive in that game, most of the time animals are more scared of us than anything irl, so having them as enemies makes no sense to me.

      I also prefer to have animals not attack me in games like this, partially cause I love animals but also since it can get just annoying with how frequent it happens. That's actually something I really liked about New Vegas, it really felt like a barren, desolate wasteland.

      As for making a mod to prevent all brahmin NPCs dying, I'm not totally sure how I would do that tbh! I have zero knowledge of scripting, but theoretically I could just mark all possible brahmin as essential (or at the very least protected)? Maybe. I'm not the most knowledgeable modder, but I can give it a go!

      I know this is from a couple months ago, but if you are looking for a mod that makes animals friendlies, here you go: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12915 ! One of the files listed modifies the Animal Friend perk to be like New Vegas's.
