Love this mod, it just has some unfortunate interactions with my LOD mods. I use the 'Vivid Fallout' LOD mods for my game, and for some reason whenever THIS mod is enabled, I end up with big polygon-y trees in the distance, random red stripes on bridges, and totally blocked up pylons. If anyone's seen this before and has a solution, I'd appreciate it!
Installed this a while ago, although it looks absolutely stunning and it’s the exact autumn environment i’ve been looking for, the trees don’t move with the wind. It put me off from using it. If the trees could sway with the wind like other mods, i’d happily stick to this one forever. It just feels off when the trees are so static.
I hadnt even noticed that the trees were not animated until I read your comment and booted up the game to check! I will look into it, but no promises that I will make it work :)
I don't know about any esp/fo4edit way, but if you know how to extract from ba2 files (which I've never done), you may be able to use some free program like GIMP to manually alter the dds textures. You'd have to check modding tutorials and know things like what compression and format the dds files need (if any). Could be a steep sweat & tears learning curve if you aren't otherwise into all that.
One lesson I recall from modding colours in past games is that sometimes a colour is a compromise to look ok in different situations & conditions. For example in Combat Mission I changed the slightly off-coloured German WW2 grey armour to look perfect (in dry daytime) only to later discover in rainy night battles my alterations made it all appear a weird purple. And it didn't look right in the evening in certain weathers. I used to spend ages tweaking and retweaking every colour many dozens of times for every conceivable weather - it's lots of little things like this which caused my last major mod to take 2 hard frustrating years to produce - and which non-modders usually don't understand and immediately query. Not saying that's applicable here, you just made me think of it is all.
if you want green leaves with only a few red ones, i recolored the atlas leaves.. Currently looking fo the lod textures, so i can also redo the LOD, looks pretty good with more green in it.
download paint.net, download cathedral asset optimizer, extract bsa, drag trees you want change to paint.net and adjust hue saturation then save as bc7 i think
It's a shame that the author of the mod did not fix the problem with floating leaves. I know, disable, but where there are a thousand trees, it's a nightmare. It looks good in the game though.
Don't like grass mods because they usually add grass in interior and in "non grass" tagged places, so I Iooked for a trees mod that could match the vanilla grass and yours, friend, is the perfect pick.
Essaie aussi si tu veux --> ( Spring in the Commonwealth ). Il respect les endroit habité pour ne pas les envahir. Les herbe ne sont pas très hautes, elle sont très jolies avec de jolies fleurs. surtout la version 1.7.3
