The mod can be added/removed at any moment without any problems, it does all its work in memory and doesnt touch save game.
If it doesnt work in your game, it means you dont have installed it correctly, install it manually, make sure every file is at their correct place, make sure animation files for lever action rifle arent overwritten by another mod, its techincally impossible for this mod to not work if installed correctly. Obviusly this mod is incompatible with other lever action reload fix mods. Any comment related to these things will be deleted
Encountered a strange issue when using the Lever Action Rifle with this mod, Tactical Reload, and the BCR + TR optional file. Whenever I had the Lever Action Rifle equipped, my character's movement would be messed up. Sometimes I would move very slowly, sometimes I would not be able to walk backwards, sometimes pressing movement keys would make me move in the wrong direction.
I didn't get this issue with any other weapon, or when the Lever Action Rifle was stowed.
I tested the weapon without Tactical Reload or the BCR + TR file (so just BCR + the BCR only file) and it works fine. Perhaps an issue with Tactical Reload, or some kind of conflict between BCR and TR?
i also have this. did you ever find a fix other than just removing it? edit: contrary to what other sources say to load deadlast it actually needs to load very high up top
what i did to get it mostly working. download the lever action patch (without TR which i believe is irrelevant i have tr downloaded i just forgot when i was downloading this.) loaded up a lvl 1 save that didn't go up the vault elevator yet (probably not needed) gave myself a lever action via console, (and 30 rounds so i could reload) it worked flawlessly went to my actual save to see if my Remington model 11 worked it does...well...mostly... anything 5 rounds and over you just straight up can't reload. gonna see if i can get a lever action on the fresh save to have over 5 rounds and then switch over to my "current" save and try to reload and see. but anyway example, my remington has 6 sounds atm, if i shoot once it starts the first second of the reload animation and stops, if i shoot again to have 4 then i can reload and it visually reloads 1 shell, but will put my max ammo up to 6, same if i use the long barrel that gives me 7 rounds +1 i can't reload anything above 5 but as i hit 4 and reload it visually reloads 1 shell but fills my ammo, if i go under 4 it will visually reload up to 5 rounds. but it will actually bring my ammo to 8. will edit once i try to get a lever action on the fresh save with more than 5 capacity and see if that does anything edit: 5 is the limit boyos unless yall figured out how to fix that
I'm just getting back into FO4 now that i have it downgraded. Is it better to use 2.00 (for the last old-gen patch) or 2.02 (newest for the NG) on a downgraded game?
I've searched through the comments and I'm having no luck finding an answer. [edited for spelling]
Im using the pipe hunting rifle with the pipe gun reanimation mod and its still loading all 6 rounds even if i only shoot one. Is there any way to fix this or is it a problem with the animation mod i added?

This is what I did to test it;
This is what I did to test it;
Used a modded shotgun. Fired 1 round, reloaded 6.
Used a vanilla lever rifle, fired 2 rounds, reloaded 2 rounds.
Used a modded shotgun, fired 2 rounds, reloaded 2 rounds.
Then I restarted the game. Went back to square 1.
But once you reload the game, it goes back to 'normal' unless you do it again. Something is broken, and its unfortunate. But, nothing you can do.
