Great your solution was the only one which helped me! I just copied the content from your ini file below my existing ini content and it works! great, thx so much!
Just tried the settings (made a backup just in case). No Sound, only black Picture, but HUD is there. Got a heavily tweaked game so maybe it conflixts with my other settings and stuff.
You see a better look and performance in you're oculus ? I only have the wmr headset, the oculus have better performance, because don't have that wmr portal stealing memori ram
sorry something got lost while tiping. only the sound issue is resolved by restarting. Didn't realise your ini settings were only aimed vor wmr headsets
nop this fix is for all headsets , because fix the fallout 4 vr internal taa
and the sound problems I had long before the mod, it sounds horrible, a loud sound, like electrical interference, I don't know if the same thing happens to you
haaaa , broo but oculus have good antialiasing tools and , if you turn off this tools and prove the mod could work ok i will play skyrim vr good day :D
i couldn't find the Fallout 4 VR Custom.ini file anywhere. i did find the Fallout 4 Custom.ini in C:\Users\owner of this crap\Documents\My Games\Fallout4VR,is this the right place? there's another one in the app data folder in vortex folder. is my windows os playing with me?
this INI settings are amazing. I tried a lot of stuff but yours is the only that works for me.
But I have one big problem ... when I go to VATS and attack the game crash immediately and I am back in Steam Home. I didnt have this problem before your INI. @SUPADRE32 you know something about that?
I am playing with Oculus Quest and VD. (GTX 2080, i9, 32GB RAM)
Hello friend The only way you can fix this , is : 1) all the time save a backup of the file 2) delete one line of mi mod (or two) and remember what line you delete 3) start youre fallout 4 , make tests 3.5) if this work save the file and share to the community 4) if this dont work take the copy of youre saved file , delete another line , and you have to do this and find what's happening
Really I am glad to see that this mode work in quest I have a new update . I will upload the file in this week Good day Blessings to all your friends and family
i buy the oculus quest 2, and i don't have problems , only whit a little less performances , but the vats are ok to. even mi pc is less powerful than yours , rtx 2060 oc 6 gb , i3 -8 , 24 gb ram , but all disks are SSD. good day, and i hope work this mod for you
Version 9.0 seems to work nicely but I have noticed several settings are set more than once causing the game to ignore and delete earlier references as well as outright deleting all "GR fog 0" entries. Here I've cut the entries out in order along with what is kept after running the game: fMeshLODLevel1FadeDist=9999999.0 fMeshLODLevel2FadeDist=9999999.0 fTreesMidLODSwitchDist=5000.0 fShadowLODMaxStartFade=1000.0 fSpecularLODMaxStartFade=2000.0 iShadowMapResolutionPrimary=2048 fTreesMidLODSwitchDist=9999999.0000 [kept] fShadowLODMaxStartFade=15000.0 [kept] fSpecularLODMaxStartFade=150000.0 [kept] iShadowMapResolutionPrimary=8192 [kept] fMeshLODLevel1FadeDist=1999999.0000 [kept] fMeshLODLevel2FadeDist=1999999.0000 [kept]
It is assumed that to play optimally in VR you must use 4k native resolution with DSR to make Anti-Aliasing unnecessary. I don't know who will think of playing VR without 4k. Crazy
Se supone que para jugar de forma optima en VR debes usar resolución nativa 4k con DSR para que sea innecesario el AntiAliasing. No se a quien se le ocurriria jugar VR sin 4k. Una locura.
that depends on your hardware I have the windows mixed reality, and I play the fallout 4 vr in 1.8 of supersampling, and I see this very necessary( 1.8 means 2138 x 2138 per eye, it is obvious that it is in 4k )
Tell me what your hardware is and if you can give me a suggestion, please tell me how
I hope you help us with the performacia of our fallout 4 vr the DSR of nvidia dont work for me
mi hardware 2060 oc 6gb core i3 3 ssd 240 hmd lenovo explorer
if you have better hardware, it is obvious that you have no problems
dantephoenix The problem that the DSR FACTOR is not very smooth, if it gives performacy but does not help much
I could do this combination: DSR FACTOR AT 4.00x 100% and supersampling at 2.2. I originally play with the supersampling at 1.8 , that means 2136x2136 per eye I don't know if the fps would go down, but there are times when the milliseconds raise me to 13 or up to 16

Some of these ini settings are completely bonkers, like ugridstoload being like 5 billion. Dude seems to be intentionally trolling
is my windows os playing with me?
