v1.1 - Added ESL versions of both files and converted to FOMOD.
A simple change to the recoil value on the Gauss Rifle Suppressor. Its default value coupled with the other standard parts put it at slightly greater than -1.0 recoil. This gives it no recoil when fired. If you add the Recoil Compensating Stock together with the Suppressor, then it actually has negative recoil (as in it moves the camera down after each shot). This changes the value of the suppressor to that of the Compensator, which when used with either barrel and Recoil Compensating Stock, put the total recoil reduction at 95%.
This is also a very easy change to do for yourself if you're at least somewhat familiar with FO4Edit. Search the string "mod_GaussRifle_Muzzle_Suppressor" in the editor id box and change the values of AimModelRecoilMaxDegPerShot and AimModelRecoilMinDegPerShot to -0.5, as shown in the picture.
This mod will conflict with anything that edits mod_GaussRifle_Muzzle_Suppressor. Included is an alternate version that works with Better Mod Descriptions or Even Better Mod Descriptions, but does not require either of them to work. This mod needs to go after either of those so it can override.
