any idea how to properly uninstall this mod in case you want the randomness back? the cartridges become ejecting allover the place like crazy when I do
For this you need to install fo4Edit ( https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2737 ).
Open it and load this mod.
Unfold the mod, search for "GameSetting" and click on "fGunShellDirectionRandomize"
==== Optional part ==== - you can copy this entry into a patch plugin to avoid modifying the mods plugin, to avoid to lose modifications in case of reinstall or update of the mod.
Right click on the entry => Copy as override into...
Click <new file>.espESL
Give a name to your patch.esp ==== End optional part =====
And then modify the float value to something bigger
(Vanilla is 0.45) (this mod is 0.05) Try something in between.
one thing that annoys me to no end is that the "Assault Rifle" seems to eject its shells straight into the air, but there is clearly a ejection slot on the right side of the rifle (as it should be) so the shells don't eject into your face.
Well... one of my friends was firing an m1 garand, when he ejected the clip, it shot straight up into the air, then fell and hit him on the head. EDIT: Spelling Garand correctly
I know this is lot to ask for, but if you made a version with a bit more variation in the shell direction, but not nearly as extreme as in vanilla, that'd be awesome. Still, great mod!
Able to please make a variant that doesn't touch shell duration? I'm not keen on load order, the option to simply 'download & play' is more appealing than having to worry about load order and it messing with other mods.
Alright will do. Initially didnt have time/too lazy to upload a version with no shell time changes, but I'll make one and also look at some other features to implement as well.

Thank you, svaal :)
fGunShellLifetime is also edited but one question, this is one of hidden GMST,
where do you guys find them? (console? )
and how do you add a hidden setting to a plugin ?
