These shot gun is poor shoot it far way that is why in game I don't use it that much I use guns that shoot far way an stronger guns. I use pistal that Railroad gives me stronger then shot gun.
It was like this in F3 too, and even NV to an extent: In F3 the Combat Shotgun deals more damage and shoots faster than the Sawed-off Shotgun, dealing ~6.1111 damage per pellet while the latter deals ~5.5555 per pellet, the Double-barrel shotgun added by PL deals more damage because it uses two ammo per shot instead of one and still only deals around ~9.4444 damage per pellet. (All shotguns shoot 9 pellets in F3). In NV the Riot Shotgun deals more damage than the Sawed-off Shotgun per ammo, dealing ~9.5714 damage per pellet while the latter deals ~7.1428 damage per pellet. (The Riot Shotgun shoots 7 pellets, the Sawed-off Shotgun shoots 14 and uses 2 ammo per shot).
Not saying this change doesn't make sense, F4 just carries over what was previously commonly accepted balance.
