donĀ“t know why but after some days playing with it, now the cap have no texture anymore :/ but just for female, for my male companion it works fine. Any ideas ?
For the benefit of anyone having the same problems:
Do you know if it ever worked for females or not?
No idea why it would just stop working all of a sudden like that, just what the heck have you been doing! LOL
Disable/delete and reinstall. If you use a mod manager, that's fine but manually check and see that the files are actually installed where they are supposed to be and have the correct file size or, after installing with a manager, just copy paste the files manually and overwrite when asked.
I really HATED the vanilla cap SO MUCH. It's like they have a bunch of morons making those textures for them, good grief! They probably just don't spend any time making them in good detail...
Baseball caps are spread throughout the commonwealth in various loot and vendors... so if you haven't run into any yet, you will just haveto keep playing. Note that all "baseball caps" in the game are still called just that, "baseball cap(s)", even w/ this retexture installed.
Baseball caps, umong other apparel, can also be crafted if you use the armorsmith workbench from a mod called "Armorsmith Extended".
The baseball cap, like anything else, can be spawned via console, though am not sure how that will work w/ survival mode even if the console is enabled with a cheat mod.
Thank you! Mr. Odinz - This hat is my favorite camo tex of any that I have ever seen. The pattern is well-lit and properly toned and detailed all the way down to the fabric. Had a fleeting thought that this would do well as a rextexture on the other piece of clothing that nobody uses. I wondered if it were at all possible to get this same texture onto the massively underused Baseball Uniform or one urban camo that were similar. If you or anyone else ever decide to pick this back up, I sincerely request that you turn this into a baseball clothing replacement. Again, thanks for making the lame-o baseball cap into a truly awesome and now perfectly useful hat. Probably the best thing to ever happen to it.
I updated NMM, but now the hat doesn't work. Also says your mod is outdated to NMM. Any chance you can update it? EDIT: I downloaded it manually, works fine.
