Back again with another weapon re-edit/overhaul. It seems that this is really the only kind of modding I'm somewhat decent at lol.
Anyway, if you're like me and have sifted through, downloaded and played nearly hundreds if not thousands of weapon mods over the years here on Nexus, and felt that out of all of the variety here, that something was just "missing" than I think I have something you folks just might like.
Mod Author M150 most famously known for that crazy enemy mod M's Abominations really had something going when they created the Arm Laser Gun and as cool the concept was and as often as I have personally used that mod, I always felt that it could be improved and expanded upon... With all credit to M150 there were aspects of the Arm Laser that bothered me, notably the gigantic size that looked well out of place on a player character not in Power Armor. Also the mod essentially behaved and fired just like the vanilla laser weapons. After reading through the posts on the mod page one thing was very commonly clear, lots of folks wished the weapon could fire plasma rounds and was a smaller form factor just so folks could feel like Fallout Megaman or a Samus Aran. I too was among these folks and overtime as I got a better understanding of weapon editing in CK I slowly began to expand on this and after a while I got to a point that after enjoying over 200 hours of personal use I decided to upload this. The MI-34 Ion Cannon is a compact Modular Energy Weapons System developed by Dr. Octavia Lee within The Institute's Advanced Systems Division. The Institute wanted a modular weapon that could be outfitted onto The Gen-4 Courser Initiative that would combine Gynoid and Cybernetic Technologies. The Weapon would be coupled into a Gen-4 Courser's armor and through Nerual Implants the MI-34 can be sent commands to arm and equip itself as well as configure it's multiple arrary of munition types in order to give the operator a viable and tactical advantage based on enemy force encounters, numbers and threat levels.
The MI-34 is calibrated through Ionic Phazon Energy Systems that bridges the Laser, Plasma, NOVA and Gauss Technologies through Multistage Ferro-Vamlid Isomer Induction.
Highly Customizable with an array of Weapon Technologies, The MI-34 is the pinnacle of a Complete, Compact, Reliable and Powerful Weapons System that will gaurantee Battlefield Dominance.
HOW TO GET: The Weapon can be Crafted at The Chemistry Station Under Miscellanous. OR Console Command "help MI-34 4 weap" without quotes.
**HIGHLY RECOMMENDED** In Order to get the same texture and sounds of this mod these mods are strongly suggested but NOT Required:

- This mod is a Re-Imagining of M150's Arm Lasergun. I have attempted to contact them for permission to upload this and never got a reply. On his Nexus Forum profile however, he does indicate that all modders can use his meshes, textures and scripts. So I will take this to assume that I am in the clear to do this and of course I will credit him. IF he does wish for me to take this mod down, then I will do so.
- This mod is OP yes I KNOW. That is my intention. This is an Endgame Weapon and it is a very Powerful One. The idea, is to make the player feel powerful. No, I will NOT list this as a Cheat Mod. *Puts on Glasses* Realisitically an Ion Energy Weapon would deal greivious amounts of endothermic and gamma Radiation damage and extensive physical trauma to organic life and tissue and as such be quite capable of causing death in just a couple of shots or less... FAR more than a metallic bullet could ever do! Why? Because Science!!!
- Due to the re-scaling of various meshes to give the weapon that neat little compact look, it is NOT recommended to place any of the muzzle attachments onto the Ion Repeater and Nova Missile Launcher Barrels. Those two Barrels are designed to function WITHOUT muzzle attachments so please just listen to Papa Nemtek and leave them be.
- The Original Arm Laser mod is NOT required for this mod to work. This Mod is standalone.
