    Hope folks enjoy the mod, always nice to hear feedback and ideas. I love these weapons, and the customizations are a big part of it. Thanks again zachtan1234 for all the hard work and generosity.

    Two points:

    A) You can pick and choose which weapon mods you actually want to use from this mod, and from zachtans mod. You dont technically have to install them all. The ones you dont install wont work (textures wont work and you could -possibly- get crashes if you try to build those items), but you can still use the ones you do want. All those weapon mods are great, but you may not want them all and thats fine.

    B) Esl files can be dependent on esp's, as this one is, and they work just fine. Esl-flagged esp's also do not count towards your plugin count, but apparently confuse some mod managers less. So I've re-uploaded this with the esp version as the main, and esl version as an optional file you can use if you prefer. (Just overwrite the esp.)

    I don't understand how to properly install this. I already have the required mods, but this mod has a C-WVAS.esp dependency, which I don't have because I installed the individual files instead of the main file which is over 1GB of other weapons that I don't have installed and the individual versions of the mod does not have the esp this one requires.

    what am i doing wrong? i have all the related mods and nothing works for me. i downloaded this and the patch but my weapon parts are still purple. i also cannot figure out how to holster my weapons. i have visible weapons but i dont have the consumable that allows you to holster things. i have every mod and all the required mods.

    i have CVWAS, the add on, visible weapons, and every required mod. i dont know what im doing wrong or what i could do to fix it

    Hello, I've been using this mod for a while and love it. One thing I'm seeing recently is when I try to upgrade the carry weight capacity for the Go Bag, the required materials that are in the workbench don't show up as available for the crafting upgrade. Am I missing something?

      When I first made these I mistakenly used the misc miscellaneous scrap items for the required components, instead of the correct cmpo component items. Try going into the console and doing:
      player.additem 6907A 10
      ” 69081 10
      ” AEC5F 10
      ” AEC64 10
      ” 1BF72E 10
      This will add 10 each of the aluminum, screw, cloth, leather, and adhesive misc items to your player inventory. Then see if you can do the modification. (If I can ever manage to update this mod I can fix that!)
      Let me know if that doesnt work.

      Doesn't fix anything sadly. It keeps saying " You lack the requirement to craft this item", even though I have unlocked the necessary perks and gathered enough materials.

    Hi, love this mod. But I encountered a problem recently: 

    When I first installed it, use console command to spawn the backpack and holster position for RU556, it appeared normally. But after a few game times, the RU556 on the backpack just "gone".  The backpack is still there, but not the gun.

      I might have figured out the problem. As it turns out, the "holster position for RU556" will disappear after a while (for me) if I spawn it with the console command. But if I craft it at the chem station, I can equip it again, and it also appears. 

      However, I also encountered a new problem related to RU556. After switching to 3rd person, I noticed some textures on the gun turned purple like the mag, scope, and stock.

    there's an issue with the FN SCAR, it's a slot 58 but only goes on the right side of the backpack. All the slot 59 holsters I know go on the right side, and everything that goes on to the back of the backpack is slot 58. Since the FN SCAR is slot 58, I can no longer put any guns on the back of the backpack because of that, and since It's not on the back itself and on the right side, I can't even use any of the slot 59 right side weapons, since they're all right side. So I am stuck with having only one gun on my back unless I take off the FN SCAR, which kinda sucks because I want ot use the FN SCAR with something else.

    Great mod. Love that I can put mod weapons on my backpack. 
    I downloaded the RU556 mod with 4k textures but I'm still getting pink for the model of the sights and the stock of the gun on my backpack as if I'm missing the textures but I downloaded the full mod and don't see anywhere to download textures for it.

      Make sure you are using the item from zachtans mod when you use this patch, and that you are not still using the item from VWOP. 
      If the textures of the weapon mod have been updated since I made my mod or zachtan made his, then you may have some texture issues anyway. If that is the case, you can fix these yourself using Nifskope and the Material Editor, with a little homework and effort. When you open the model in Nifskope you will see all the texture/material paths, and with the Material Editor you can correct them to whatever the weapon mod author has used. (Even if you have never even thought about modding, dont let this intimidate you. With a little patience and willingness to watch some tutorials you will see what I mean and be able to fix things. It may even kickstart you making mods of your own, like it did for me.)

      Hey. Thanks for help. I got it working but I found another problem. The AKM has a texture problem. No matter which one I use for my go-bag, there's a missing texture for the folding stock. But weirdly it's only when I use the model with the standard stock, do I get the pink "missing texture" for the folded stock. 

      Not sure if that's clear so I'll try to break it down. 
      -I make the AKM VWOP go-bag right side from the chem station. ('I've tried making the AKM (ngrabber) and changing the position to gobag right as well and the problem is still there)  
      -I equip it with the standard stock model, but I get a missing texture for folded stock. 
      -I go to an armor workbench and change the model to folded stock and it works fine. No missing textures and the folded stock appears on the on the gun model. 
      -I change it back to the standard stock and the model has the standard stock AND the missing textures for the folded stock.

      There may be a typo in one of the material files, one of the texture names, or in the esp in the material swap. I thought I caught them all, but maybe not. It could also be a weird install issue, file landed in wrong place. Some tinkering with the archives, fo4edit, the material editor, and maybe even nifskope if you want to triple-check, I bet you could find and fix it. Seriously, it is not as hard as it may seem and is actually quite fun, if you ask me. With these basic tools you can fix naggling errors like this, and I bet you will want to even start making your own mods.

      But, the shortcut answer is - pretend that when you holster your weapon, you fold the stock! I would certainly collapse a collapsible stock to strap it to my backpack, if I were using such a weapon. Boom, problem solved! :)

    might be a long shot but I'll try. just wanna know why I still cant pick a slot on my backpack for vwas? It only uses the default backpack slot and I dont have the "back" option

      I may need you to explain more what you are looking for, so you can PM if you like and we can go into more detail. But the patch adds a couple options to the CVWAS mod, which position the item accordingly on the backpacks from the vwop mod. It’s within the cvwas items, not this mods items. And it is only the weapons listed, not everything in cvwas and definitely not just whatever weapon you may have.
