Do I place this after or before mods that rebuild precombines? Does it matter?

Doesn't matter, LOD is not part of the precombine system.

Hey, this may be on my end, but each time I download the main file everything in it gets corrupted. I tried manually downloading as well as downloading to MO but nothing works. I was just wondering if anyone else is having this problem and if there is a solution to this. Thanks in advance.

      Have you enabled "loose files"?

If not, the BA2's don't get overwritten by the optional 'loose' files.

WOW! What an improvement! This mod is fantastic - not only does the distant terrain look so much better, but the buildings look really really nice from afar as well. Really well done! It is a total must-have kind of a mod! Endorsed. :)

Just go into the ESP and delete all the tree records and remove all the tree meshes and textures from the mod before you run LODgen.

Hi, just tried your pregen LOD main file on my vanilla FO4. While the distant rocks lock better in general, the trees appear to be even thinner and less lush compared to the default LDO (maybe because of the increased texture resolution?), I don't like it. Beginner here: How do I only use the rock textures? Thanks for your effort, keep up the good work!

Yea its probably because of the higher resolution, but try removing ElmBranchesLOD_d and MapleBranchesLOD_d textures from the mod, that should make the branches look like vanilla.

What is the BUILDING LOD folder? Do we use that to run LODFGen?

No don't use those for regular use, the building stuff is not complete or fully tested.

    Heya flecked.

So if running BNS (1.30) and xlodgen, Im assuming hiding/deleting:

    Meshes > LOD > Landscape > Trees
    Textures > LOD > Trees

is a given prior to running xlodgen right?

Probably would be best to just merge BNS and Better LOD resources together, I wouldn't remove anything.

It shouldn't effect FPS too much. I would just try it for yourself and see how it runs.

    Hi agian!
I want to try LODify Rustbelt Flora.
Can you tell how you did LODs yourself?

Rustbelt seems to have pretty good LOD already, but does not seem to include LOD resources. Not too much you can really do with it, what are you trying to do.

But my Fallout so heavy modded(tons of locations and landscape edits), and i make LODs for it.
      Rustbelt's one will overwrite mine.
      That's not good.

That's true, maybe ask Spiffy if he still has the LOD stuff for Rustbelt.
