   Such mods always amaze me. Its like see an mod for game like "need for speed" with name "mod for those who suffer with Technophobia"

      They don't even exist in the game, may as well remove the corpses for these non existent creatures.

   Cant you just replace the model with an empty nif? That way there is no edit made in the game.

      If other objects, eg settlement mods, reference that nif it could break them too.

      I've tried this and it doesn't work. Neither does this mod unfortunately. I am not afraid of the carcasses just think they should rot eventually and it takes me out of the game when I run past the same pristine carcass 20 times.
      
      I wonder if I can edit the texture and replace it with a 100% alpha channel. Maybe that would make them invisible.

   Did you rebuild the previs/precombines? If not this mod probably broke those and will have a negative impact on game performance.

      I doubt it. they are still there, just under the ground. There is not enough of them around to actually impact performance anyway

      If there would be horde of them perhaps yes. I don't think that it will boost any performance only cuz it removed couple meshes from couple places. If remove trash, yes it will boost some fps cuz trash is all over around.
