    308 and 7.62 are the same thing. Just a screw up from Nuka World. I used the same ammunition in my personal rifle. The magazine capacity and stats are identical. Just so you can fix the discrepancies.

      no they are not if u did more than a seconds reseach yopur find they are classed as similair but not the same ammo 

      telling peoplekits a screw uop when your the one who actualy wrong is redicules

      they arnt the same size if look at their dimentions they dont line up

      Were you born this rude or was it something you perfected over time. With only a couple hundred fps difference, they're close enough to the same on the damage scale. 7.72 can be shot through a 308 barrel not entirely safely but not the other way around, 308 won't fit in the 7.62 chamber.
      You really shouldn't assume anything. Was it worth the effort? Thanks for the invaluable info, Demonicyst.

      Judging from the apperance of the Handmade Rifle from NukaWorld, the caliber would be 7.62x39mm, otherwise known as 7.62 russian.  .308 is 7.62x51mm, or 7.62 NATO.  Very diffrent rounds, same bullet diameter.

    For some reason I can't build the magazine for the .308 and the 7.62. I've reinstalled the main file and this patch but nothing lets me build the mag. The 50 cal is affected also.
    Is anyone else unable to make magazines for this mod?? What is wrong?

      Just an an FYI, I did this mod for an older version of Factor, it most likely will not work with the latest Factor. I no longer use Factor as it's too overpowered for my current play style and I have no plans to update this mod at this time.

    for errors with the mod "Factor_new_barrels.esp" just open the mod in ck and save and the header issue will be solved

      At the risk of sounding stupid, what's CK?

      I've got an issue where when I go to change the barrel there's an !mag error, wondering if this will fix it.

    since it hasn't been updated since before the last FACTOR update it makes the game crash when you open barrel's menu on the weapon workbench.

    Hello! I just downloaded this mod and the Factor gun today and I've been trying to play around with all the different mods. I can't seem to get the gun to fire in automatic mode unless I'm using a barrel calibrated to 5,56mm. Can this gun fire the larger rounds with full auto (7,62mm up to .50)? If so, which barrel or receiver do I need?

    Interesting, I didn't notice VigVam changing his permission settings for the Factor. I created an expansion for that mod myself but a few months back he didn't allow modifications to his mod.

      if you look under permissions and credits you'll see.

      Yeah, as I said, I didn't notice that change. From the day of the release of his mod up until two days ago (according to the author's log) VigVam didn't allow for any modifications of his mod. I tried to contact him in the past. Looks like he changed his mind after all this time, fortunately.

    So, the Sniper Rifle stays affected by the Sniper perk until you add a suppressor... Then it reverts back.

    I'm getting an unrecognised version warning in Wrye Bash with this mod - has anyone else had this problem, and if so how do I fix it? Never seen this before on any other mods...

      I don't use Wrye Bash, just good old NMM but the version in the header is pretty standard. "0.910000" as shown in FO4Edit.
