New update : - Protectron folder removed - Super Mutant Behemoth HD added
NOTE : - If happen you use my Robot and HD liberty prime mod, make sure put this creature pack BEFORE that robot. Including Esp. In Robot pack, the Assaultron quality higher than this pack.
NEW OPTIONAL FILES This files contain 1k and 2k. For big creatures i give 2k and the for smaller enemies just 1k. Useful for player who like spawn many creatures. Personally for gameplay i use this one because i only need sharp textures for big enemies. No one will look stingwing too close anyway.
Do i just need the optional file for the 1-2k textures or do i still need to download the main file and let the optional file replace the main one in mo2?
Please help me understand something regarding these texture packs.
I know that these textures (along with others like Vivid Fallout, etc) are much smaller than the HD DLC textures installed by the DLC. But does this really mean if I use these texture replacers my game will use less memory & thus will be less strained to run? Or do the original ones still run better (maybe because of precombines or not having to load additional textures over the base ones? I don't really know!)
I use a gaming laptop so I don't get as much juice out of my system (even though it is a 3070 GPU). Should I be installing all these texture replacers to improve my performance or just stick to the HD DLCs? Please advise!
BTW: Nice work on all textures by SavrenX. I have endorsed all your texture packs!
Some for the necropost, but there is a saying that I read at least from vanilla skyrim that higher size doesn't mean higher quality, lower resolution handmade textures can and will look better than bethesda "hd" resolutions that simply look like vanilla ones stretched out.
If I'm not mistaken you should only be aware of the texture resolution when you are hitting your maximum VRAM, higher resolution textures doesn't affect performance that much, maybe an increase of loading times or a bit of stutter but nothing more than this, in the other hand if exceed your VRAM you will start to see some bugs or even crashes.
EDIT: Found it under mosquito. Not seeing a change in game. Textures on blood bug look blurry like a cartoon. Did I do something wrong? Other creatures look great.
