This mod doesn't work at all/I installed it manually, and with a mod manager. The items the mod adds aren't in the game.

Have you thought about adding a custom vendor to the Institute for these grenades? by the time I actually join the institute I'll have completely forgotten this mod exists without an ingame way to get the nades lol.

I know it's super late to reply but, that is a good point. If I can get my CK to work again, I'll see about just adding them to a custom vendor or, more likely, just to the standard institute weapons/equipment vendor(so I don't mess up anything if someone has mods that changes the layout and everything) Probably just for like 0 caps and a large amount. So far, the reason this hasn't been updated is because of my issues with CK.

Hello folks! I have...considerable free time at this point. So I am considering expanding the Synth Family again. I am going to update the I.P.S synths, given I noted they tend not to use automatic weapons. I will also be making available more of my personal synth creations. I know. I'm going synth crazy lol. I make NPCS fight for me a lot, hence the variety.
Anyways, any suggestions, for synths? So long as it is within the base game and the DLCS I believe it can work. Ahh...And..a mini story supporting it? ^_^
Anyways, that's all. I may add power armored gen2s. I debate whether to do so.

No. They are in the same faction as the normal npc synths on the surface that fight for the Institute, except they are not very aggressive. Thus, the ECUs can be placed in neutral territories such as Goodneighbor or Diamond City. :D
      Apologies for the late reply!

Wish you would add an in-game method of getting the relays...

Firstly, I know you may know all of this stuff already, but I want to cover the bases. :D.
      1. Are you installing this via Vortex or manually? Make sure it's enabled. You may double check this via going to the mods section of the main menu in Fallout. From there to Load Order. You should look for ClassicEliteCombatSynths or for the Military uniformed synths [4Horizon]IPSSynths and for the Raider synths MOR.esp.
If there is not a check next to its next to its name that means it is not enabled. Click it to enable it, or really when that checkmark appears.

      2. If you find that it is indeed enabled then it's present. You must bring up the console, by pressing the ~ key located on the left of the One Key and above the Tab key. Then type in Help "E.C" 4You must use quotation marks for this search to work. You repeat this with "Director" or "IPS" or "Bester's"
      An exact example being below

      help "E.C" 4

      3. If you need to scroll through the list that appears use the Page Up and Page Down keys. To add the items to your inventory once you find their code.

      player.additem

^ You put in the exact code number you see next to the item in question. An example of what you should see is in the screenshots but given your load order may be different than mine, the first few numbers will be different so a search is needed. After typing in the item code, put the number of how many you want added. And there you go. :D

If you have any further issues, please feel free to post a question but I think this should help. ^_^

This mod looks very interesting! I'll try it for sure.

But a question for a moment. Which Retex mod for helmet and institute laser do you use?

If I never become Director of the Institute, and get exiled from it, do these synths show up as enemies if I install it?

No they do not. I haven't figured how to do that one just yet. Side note though, if you do fight them they have their own npc rifles[that do about standard laser rifle damage] and armor so it cannot be looted[it also prevented the problematic issue of synths picking up the weapons of enemies if it had better stats.
Also, thank you for asking this question. It made me realize I forgot to mention that in the description lol. xD I have since updated that.
