About this mod

This mod adds in relay grenades independent of the vanilla ones, that will spawn in synths that will combat your foes if you are aligned with the institute. They're uniformed and armed and safe to put anywhere where there isn't an enemy faction. For ex: Diamond City. Perfect for securing a player home or settlement. Or holding a combat zone.

These synths come equipped with a uniform, armor, a automatic institute rifle and cryogenic grenades. However, you'd need to acquire these relay grenades via console command. They have 0 weight and their use is considered non hostile. These synths will even relay in. There are three types of synth. The Mk I, II and III all using levels of synth armor appropriate. light, medium and heavy. 

I made this mod for myself after feeling disappointed by my lack of, really, any perks at becoming the Director of the Institute. I wanted to be able to relay in support at any time I wanted. I found the vanilla Synth relay grenade laughable and far too hostile to use. This, is what a Director should be able to bring into a fight whenever the need arises.

For those who previously downloaded the optional npcs, I recommend removal of the previous version and installation of the 9-12-19 version. The errors have been fixed. IPS will now work together, Bester's will no longer alert enemies.

What this mod includes
Synths E.C.U from level 26-46-66
Directorate escort[bodyguard] courser npcs[That can be relayed in]
An experimental leftover synth escort npc that is also able to be relayed in.
A custom set out of Institute outfits and a weapon.
The items known as the Formal lab coat, lab coat and hazmat suit. Finally the Director's weapon. All are vanilla items I made custom versions of with altered stats. Notably the 'Director's' version of the Institute laser has a high ammo capacity and a higher damage.

Thing Two: These npcs do not exist in the game or within any leveled lists. They'll only appear if you make them via the grenades.

How to get them?
I trust you already know how to open the console. Do so and type in  "E.C.U" to get the grenades and "Director" to search and find the item code for the other items such as the outfits and weapons. 

Originally this was meant just for personal use but I felt I ought share it.

Warning: Given these npcs are aligned with the surface institute synths they will aid them in conflict should their paths meet. Anyone set as a enemy of that faction will attack them and be attacked by them, for example the BOS. However their settings as npcs keep them at peace with most everyone, I've had little issue with them. It goes without saying that if you're allied with the Institute they'll attack whoever attacks you. They will attack the player if they are enemies of the Institute. However their faction also means you can kill these synths without the Institute becoming hostile.
