When I tried to repair the walls and floors in the existing houses, the navmesh never updated correctly and the settlers would not navigate trough the buildings... so I gave up on that.
Not sure what you mean by "repairing" the walls.... unless you are talking about the other buildings not affected by my mod? I removed a few sections to allow passage, and last time I visited JP there were 40+ settlers wandering around and the navmeshing was fine.... biggest problem for me is the gorillas blocking the stairs and doorways... for some reason they just get half way up and sit there... fortunately, there are a few ways to get around them...this settlement filled to capacity pretty quickly....in fact I had to plant more crops so they all had jobs to go to :D
Took about 2 days to build... once I realised it would be easier to just start from the rooftops and build down.... on earlier builds I tried to restore the existing buildings and lost a lot of time for a less than satisfactory outcome. It would be quicker to just do that in the geck.
I'm at work now but will post some screenshots when I get home.
Ok...just tested the navmesh....no issues in any area at my end. I added 2 screenshots in the images folder showing the settlers passing freely between the old and new buildings...all other areas check out as well. maybe nuke the settlement and place it again?

Regardless, this looks like it took a while. xD
