    New version 1.3 has just been released - Much improved HHSOutfit script - Recommended upgrade!

    To upgrade:
    1) uninstall (no chem needed)
    2) make clean save (see below)
    3) install new version of this mod
    4) load clean save

    How to make a clean save:
    1) Save game (not quick- or exit save. must be regular save!)
    2) Quit game
    3) Remove norassecret.esl from load order (plugins.txt)
    4) Delete /data/norassecret.esl and /data/scripts/norassecrets/HHSOutfit.pex (most important step, do NOT skip!)
    5) Load game
    6) Save game (this will be the clean save)
    7) Quit game

    I want to tinker with it (add the HHSound), but the F4Edit crashes when trying to open the esl .. (the esp work just fine). Is there a way around? Or maybe you could add a version of it as a esp? I'm out of options to fix it on my own (as to fix the header I'd need to open it in F4Edit but it crashes when trying to open it in the first place)

      Rename the plugin from esl to esp and it'll become an ESL flagged ESP., thereby solving your issue.

    i can't add HHSounds.esp as a master because this mod is a esl file, which is putting itself above hhsounds.esp automatically.

    I guess I need a chem to uninstall version 1.2...

    I did as you say (load, new save, quit, removed from load order, deleted both esl and pex files, loaded without esl), and as I try to make the new "clean" save (or if I try to fasttravel somewhere) the game CTD...

    If I reinstall version 1.2 the game runs smoothly, so I'm pretty sure it's your pex file the gulty one... :)

    Any tricks I can try to kill the script before I uninstall the mod?

      Seems really strange. When you delete plugin and PEX and then load the game, the engine will drop the objects from the ESL and attached scripts from the PEX because it can load neither (which makes sense when both these files are gone).

      You can observe this in the Papyrus log, if it's enabled. Therefore, please enable logging and verify that you get output like this when first loading to create the "clean" save, right after deleting the esl & pex files:

      The numbers shown will differ, but the class name "NorasSecrets:HHSOutfit" will be the same.
      The second line shown above is most important: If you have it in your log, then the scripts are confirmed gone.
      If not, the plugin and/or pex file is still being loaded (mod manager problem perhaps?).

      Also try uninstalling HHS (in fact, renaming HSS.dll in F4SE\Plugin folder to HSS.dll.disabled should do the trick) before loading to create the clean save. Maybe HHS' text file processing gets in the way, tho I cannot reproduce any problem with this.

      Another thing is to make sure HHS is on the latest version, cause earlier ones had a memory leak.

      Please report back with your findings!

      Ok, I've tried to disable the HHS plugin but the result was the same. I've logged the last session (with esl, dll and pex files removed) and I'm going to post some lines related to your script to help you investigate the matter.

      Keep in mind I've merged the main nora mod with yours (and edited the the armor records of your esl to allow legendary mods on the shoes), before I submitted the custom package to vortex. As a rookie modder myself I don't think my tweaks can be the culprit of this issue but your investigations deserve the whole truth..

      Oh... user made changes to the product... "We regret to inform you that your actions have voided all manufacturer warranty."... xD

      This aside, we can see from the log that NorasSecrets:HHSOutfit has indeed been dropped on load. We can also see that HHS is on the latest version and that the magic effects (NPC support) from it are still active, even tho the DLL has been removed.

      Since the HHSOutfit script is no longer present or active, I have reasonable doubt that it is the source of your CTD. I also don't think that HHS is causing it, because the DLL is clearly unloaded and calling unbound functions on non-present DLLs does pretty much... nothing (apart from printing an error to log).

      Things you could try:
      - Manually scrapping all Nora's Secrets items before making the clean save
      - Removing the HHS.esp from the load order (tho I don't think it'll make a difference)
      - Something that is such a hack, I'm going to privmsg it to you

      Yea, I have been testing too much and lacked some sleep xD Description is fixed for 1.3 tho. No ESP will be coming from me, but you can always clear the ESL flag and change the file extension yourself. Or make an ESL flagged ESP, as you desire.

      Which one or two editors can make it possible to clear the ESL flag?
      My modding experience at the moment ist only a little intoxicative.

      Use FO4Edit for this. Load plugin, navigate to "File Header" and modify "Record Flags" Field. You'll see a checkbox for ESL. Uncheck it, save. Rename Plugin from .esl to .esp and voila. You have an ESP. Alternatively, you can simply rename norassecret.esl to norassecret.esp without changing flags and you'll have an ESL flagged ESP (which respects load order but doesn't use up a load order slot).

      If still unclear, there's guides on the interwebs. Google "xEdit ESL ESP". It's mostly the same for FO4 as it is for Skyrim.

    Hey, I love your mod, but I noticed something you may want to address, and that is when I install the mod via Mod Organizer, the .ESL plugin file isn't in the same directory as the Scripts folder. I would make the friendly suggestion that you keep the scripts folder and the plugin file in the same 'data' folder, so that installing the mod is a more streamlined process. Anyways, thanks and keep up the good work!
