is anyone else having a problem with game brightness? For whatever reason, when I have this mod installed the game brightness just seems to be set to max, and it is incredibly annoying. Its like having a translucent white filter over the entire game.
This mod looks great sometimes but sometimes it's too shiny and the sun is too bright and makes white material surfaces too bright it hurts. I eventually ended up removing it because everything was just bathed in white. I think something broke and the white shine just kept piling on and on over and over.
I'd love to eventually get to do a mod that would put these weather types in Nuka World. As I'd just love to have those little extra FPS we have with this in that world space.
Also I'd like to do a rad weather version. Just because I love how beautiful this mod makes the game.
I'd only share those if I had the author's permission.
If anyone is having the glass/plastic issue try running it with "Clarity - A Visual Overhaul", seems to fix this issue. Also, this is a preference but instead of "Enhanced Color Correction" I use "Psycho LUT" for a more dark-ish look and switch to "Psycho LUT - Pure" for a more colorful-light look if ya'll like to try that mix.
I know the chances are slim that the creator will see this, but I just wanted to point out that glass transparency seems to be messed up during Overcast weather.
All glass (windows/windshields/bottles/beakers..etc) just becomes extremely bright/opaque during the Overcast weather. I tried poking around in FO4Edit to see if I could find anything, but it's beyond my knowledge.
Sorry for the late response, but I ended up just using an older version of the mod where the problem is less noticeable (version 3.9 under the Downloads tab). Sadly it seems like the author of the mod isn't interested in developing the mod any further.
Like SMTC Mentioned, Version 3.9 works and doesn't have this probem. If you want to use the latest version tho, I run it with "Clarity - A Visual Overhaul" and seems to fix this issue. Is the sky supposed to be so purple during dawn/dusk? I can't seem to fix it if not. I did find that waiting an hour or fast traveling removes the effect for some reason.
