    Arrows stay longer in the game world. Now set 72 (default: 10) in fallout4.esm

    sets the chance of appearing on NPC's when shot.Now set 100% (default: 33) in fallout4.esm

    iMaxAttachedArrows 30
    Shows the number of arrows shoot in NPC. Now set 30 (no default value) not present in fallout4.esm, but can be created using fo4edit

    iArrowMaxCount 120
    The number of arrows that can appear in the game world at the same time. Now set 120 (no default value) not present in fallout4.esm, but can be created using fo4edit

    1.craftable chem item "[LString] Arrow Type Switcher" (add it to favorites menu for easy access)
    2.if you have MCM installed, you can set hotkey for switch arrow type.

    Before you Update the this version, remember to clean up the old version

      If Select arrow type is not working

      1.You need have this type for arrow
      2.check
      You can't have more than two of the same bows, Otherwise it won't work
      ex: Wood Bow x1 (Y), Recurve Bow x1 (Y) , Compound Bow x1 (Y)
      Wood Bow x2 (N), Recurve Bow x1 (Y) , Compound Bow x3 (N)
      3.Please install "Fallout 4 Script Extender (F4SE)",Because of this function,Is working with script

      Now version 1.3 is out , it fix the arrow type select menu.

      Hope fix this problem

      Cause it to always upload the old error file

      Now it should work.

      Perhaps, you might consider add the Chinese tradition bow. it's lore friendly, it's elegance, with fiberglass and wood, simple but sturdy

      Didn't know how to bring a fix to your attention other than to respond to this post hopefully. The bow's "range" is set really low at 11. The "range" stat is what determines accuracy in VATS and this is what is causing the problem with people saying the bow has horrible accuracy in VATs.If you adjust the different bows' "range" value to be something more appropriate for ranged weapons the bow will work much better in VATs. Absolutely love this mod btw.

      The arrow selector is a nice feature.
      However, I prefer to make three bows and assign a magazine of arrows to each.
      After trying all three bows I opted to make three compounds at 120 lbs for max damage.
      The first has a Broadhead magazine
      Number 2 has an explosive arrow magazine
      Number 3 has a nuke arrow magazine
      This allows me to switch easily between all three from favorites.
      You better believe these bows ARE favorites too

      @seven303 range ends up affecting the arrow velocity more than it does the VATS accuracy, by the time the VATS numbers start looking good the arrows are flying like bullets. I found that out on Xbox, so it must be something with the game engine.and might be hard to fix without a total overhaul somewhere.
      The Fatman has a similar quirk in that the range stat influences the fight path, though it doesn't make nearly as much difference as it does with the bows. If someone wanted to fix the range, that's probably a good place to start.

      All that said, I find that the hit chances in VATS are all wrong, they seem to read not even 10%what they actually are, even just an 8% reading is a virtually guaranteed hit.unless you have a boosted VATS range.

      Yo! Can you fix the Files Section Download type? It auto Downloads which cancels my ability to use NMM for a "Install From File".

      I'm forced to do Manual install. Which is fine, but I prefer as do many, the ability to use NMM to install FO4 Mods.

      Ok! So I figured out that the Auto Download feature of Nexus Mods makes the files READ ONLY! So NMM can't install them! All one needs to do, is to Right Click on the .7z/zip or .Rar file, select properties & Un-check the Read Only box.
      Then NMM will be able to Install From File.

      This Mod is absolutely FANTASTIC!

      Thank you very very very much for all your work to make FO4 Fun!

    Putting the bow and arrows from Red Rocket into the nearby Ranger's Cabin makes more sense, I've made the changes for myself in Fo4edit. If anyone wants the x/y/z coordinates and rotation to make their own move/edit, I could post them.

      While your suggestion might be a bit more immersive, it's easily missed/bypassed unless you know where it is and make an early beeline for it (I never even realised it was a location until very late in my 1st playthru). Locations need to be immersive-enough, sure, but they also need to be places one might imagine most common game progressions will go, and that's what the mod tries to do.

      Well, one at Kellog's home is next hit.

      But there is sems one new problem - survival  seems breaks the mod. Or somthign along the story breaks the mod. Ammo switchers are simply getting consumed. I was able to use the first one but left it somewhere alognwith wooden bow. now I can't switch ammo at all.

      Can you set the arrow switching key in MCM still? I've found that I can switch with or without the arrow selector gizmo in my inventory as long as I have the hotkey selected in MCM.
      You can also set the arrow type in the weapon workstation, but that is a static setting (I always use Broadheads except against Kellog, then I give him a nuke arrow to the face).
      Lastly, have you tried the  LString Fallout Bow - Arrow Selection Improved mod?

      I always play survival mode and I don't have any problems with LString, maybe it's another mod that is interfering?

    Alright there PC version of this mod on betehsda site which does NOT work (MCM-related stuff is stripped).
    OP uploaded ony XBox version, no idea if it works.

      How isn't it? The game has laser and plasma weapons but thousand year old technology is out of place? Fallout is set in the world, bows and arrows exist in the world.

      Well, it's a compound bow, late-20th century invention. Before that you needed  flexible arrows which had worse ballistics and way more force to draw bow for same effect.

    Does anyone know what the "You didn't take any arrows!" Item is? It can show up as an ammo type for bows. Upon using though it crashes the game. It shows up along with normal arrows when searching npcs killed with a bow and arrow. So you tend to get a lot of them in your inv. Anyone know whats causing this?

    Anyone know what/ if any perks effect effect the bow's damage?

    May have to do a Hawkeye/Green Arrow Build build.... (Silver Shroud with a Bow?)

    Hiya, great mod, I was just wondering if there was a way to remove the glowing bits at the end of the arrows, at least on the wooden ones? Cheers!
