Can you add a super light version? Like just a few large trees scattered around the wasteland... I would love to pair this mod with BNS/Commonwealth Conifers
I can't quite tell from looking at it, but are you using 2K or 4K textures on these trees ?
Would you mind uploading the same two tree settings (normal and light), with 1K trees? I really like this concept you came up with, but don't like spending GPU resources on trees and rocks personally :) thx. I think this would help people who are having FPS issues
Would using PRP fix this or break things further? Last time I had broken precombines I remember Boston flickering in and out of existence and my entire save breaking
Hello, When I use this mod, it adds more trees, but none of them are dead—they're lush, green, and dense, almost like a jungle! :D I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Is it safe to uninstall the mod mid-play? Thanks!
Hi, this means that you have another mod installed that adds leaves to the trees. My mod uses assets from the game so any other green mod will be added directly to my trees.
I was reading your description and it says compatible with most tree mods so i slapped this in cuz i thought it would go well with spring thaw tree mod. when I came up out of the vault i was not expecting what I saw tho lol.. I left you a pic. my first tree mod took over your mod so I basically have your trees but they are budding lol... I actually LOVE this effect even if I do not actually have a dead forest :D and the best part is even though I have 2 tree mods I got a 0 loss in performance and that amazed me too.
It does work, but sadly doesn't do exactly what what I was looking for. Since life in the ruins uses "A Forest" which adds a bunch of green and lush trees, as opposed to just replacing vanilla textures. So your trees and A forest don't match up so well.
In spite of being dead trees, this mod really makes the remote areas of the Commonwealth feel more alive. However, I totally concur that we need a little mod tweak for settlements. The mod code excludes non-settlement sites like Diamond City, so it seems like it shouldn't be too difficult to also exclude the "workshop area" of each settlement. It's just kind of painful to deal with the branches clipping through walls of buildings or overrunning the gardens. Making them scrappable within the workshop area would also be fine if that's easier. THANKS!!!
