Is that the Liberty PA available on Nexus and BethNet or is it a private mod of the variant from 76?

Love the mod but every power armor on the field has bright headlamps now. I dont even need to turn mine on anymore lol.

Is there a way that you can make it a construct-able item, non legendary, so I am the only one with it?

Great mod! I previously used Omnidirectional PA Headlamps, but your mod is quite a bit better. A lot better in fact.

One request though - would it be possible to implement this with Unoctium's X-02 and X-03 power armour (maybe as an add-on... maybe as a new release...)?As it's already possible to make the X-02 & X-03 armor pieces using one of the Armorsmith workbenches, I'm guessing they may be fine with the inclusion of their armor in your mod.

This mod may already work with those armors because it's the default headlamp that's been altered. If those armors use the default headlamp then the mod will work. If my mod doesn't work then that means those armors use there own upgrades which is not common.

Well, it partly works on the X-03 - you get the omnidirectional lighting, but not the bright lighting. On the X-02 it's just the standard cone-shaped torch lighting, as neither effect works. A bit odd as they both come from the same author (Unoctium), so you might expect them to be consistent.

I've been using the X-03 suit at times, but the standard cone shaped lighting on the X-02 does my head in a bit, particularly in interiors! :( Feels a bit like vertigo, which the omni-lighting overcomes/prevents. Brighter lighting on the X-03 would be nice outdoors, but it's not the buzzkill that the conical lighting is...

Hi, good mod, really. But what is the name of the armor in the screenshot?

I'ts the Liberty Prime Power Armor with Institute paint. Word of note though and that's my mod will NOT effect the brighter headlamp and all other headlamp modifications that you can make at a power armor workbench for the Liberty Prime Power Armor because the Liberty Prime Power Armour mod doesn't use the base upgrades, it has it's own. In order for me to effect those upgrades I would need permission from the Author of that mod to make those changes.

Very necessary mod, especially for those who like to build. Night when the light of the original PIP-boy any construction becomes painful. Respect for the author!
Очень нужный мод, особенно для любителей строительства. Ночью при оригинальном свете пип-боя любое строительство превращается в мучение. Автору респект!

Thank you sir. In vanilla it always gets to a point where you need to open the console and change the time back to day time hours, in the end it gets annoying I'm glad it will help a lot of players in the settlement aspect.

Question, does this mod allow enemies to see you when you use headlamps? Shining a light on an enemy and having them be oblivious to me has always been immersion breaking for me, as I use stealth a significant amount of the time.

Unfortunately the NPC'S are still programmed to spot the vanilla light but downloading this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/27763 which is the Advanced A.I Tweaks mod will make the A.I smarter and they will easily spot you if you're pip-boy or headlamp is on. If you are quite far away from an NPC and you're light is on you may get a caution, and the mod changes that aspect as well.

NPC'S will search a far wider area trying to find you VS vanilla. There's so much more that's been improved in the mod, I highly recommend it.

Thanks for the response. I am currently running that mod myself, but still have enemies oblivious to headlamps (not an issue with the Pipboy light). I have read that the game AI does not spot light sources, rather whether or not your character is exposed to light. Which with a headlamp they are not. I'm gonna give your mod a try and see how it goes. Thanks again.

Yep, they definitely spot me now. Headlamp off, hidden. Headlamp on, sneak indicator shoots right to danger. I should have tested it somewhere less packed with Supermutants though lmao. This is perfect, as it resolves an issue I have had with the game since release. Thank you so much for your mod. Endorsed
