I started WH40K in 1994 and Terminators were already ingame. Anyway, my first post was to state the common points between the two in the sens that the X-01 could be the early prototype of the Terminator if the WH40k storyline is situated in the fallout universe future.
In a way it match together as the WH40k verse start as the humanity recover from near total destruction in a nuclear war if i remember correctly. Then it grow in technology, explore the stars and discover the Warp and colonise the galaxy . Then there are the Warp storms that closed any space travels bringing humanity to an age of anarchy with warlords and factions fighting over everythings. From this come the emergence of the Emperor of men who reunite the factions on Terra (Earth) and start the Great Crusade with his Space Marines.
As it come if the two universes were linked, the Emperor could have based is early Power Armor designs on the T series models and the Terminators on the X-01 prototype blueprints from an old archive.
