I don't use an ENB but just searching to fix puddles from looking like mercury spillages. I must say it took me a while to find any fix because ALL the solutions are described as flickering fixes when I never had ANY flicker at all.
I tried both this mod and Ablaze's later one the author here now recommends as succeeding it - and he's right. I still tried both anyway because this seems a simpler fix, but actually I then found the other one has a simple manual loose files option too. The problem with this one is it completely removes all the shine - which certainly solves the mercury problem but leaves road puddles looking like dark smudges. That's a lot better than mercury (when it isn't raining), but if you have wetness (and/or possibly reflections) enabled then when it rains and everything else looks a bit shiny, these big puddles look completely out of place. By contrast, Ablaze's one has all-round balanced reflection.
