UPDATE: It's been nearly a year since release so here's the solution to the mystery:
The dead bodies of Paul and his mistress lie dead in an alley in Goodneighbor, along with the key to his safe, a bill of sale for a .475 Wildey pistol, and a note explaining his wife Chani's frustration over his affair and mentat addiction. (Haha get the double Dune/Death Wish reference?) The bill of sale lists Paul's address as somewhere in Natick, and his wife's note mentioned dumping his safe with his gun in it somewhere. Searching Natick reveals a missing persons report in the police station which mentions a possible witness on the south shore of the lake. Going there, a note is found reporting strange activity on the lake, and suggesting that Chani was intimate with another man. The old man observes someone carrying something onto one of his boats, which goes missing. Searching the bottom of the lake near the very middle reveals the sunken boat, Chani's dead body, and the safe under some boards. In the safe is Paul's Wildey, along with a box of ammo missing 1 round. This evidence at first appears to suggest Chani's lover killed her with the Wildey and dumped her body in the lake, but remember Paul is the only one with the key. This leaves only one possibility. Paul must have been the one the old man saw drag things on the boat along with his mistress as an accessory, and the one who killed Chani and dumped her and the murder weapon in the lake, later forging the angry note found in his suitcase to explain Chani's disappearance to the police. He likely found out about his wife's affair and killed her over it in an ultimate act of hypocrisy - one which was duly avenged when he and his mistress were killed by the nukes of the great war.
First i'd like to say i love the mod.... love Charles using it in Deathwish 3.... my pistol enthusiast character is just happy as can be taking things down with one or two shots and that is with just the way it came out of the lake (she has a high Gunslinger perk).... :)
Second i like to point out that you say Paul and his mistress died in the nukes attack, but the note in the suitcase says something about his mistress being from Goodneighbour which i assume didn't exist till sometime after that..... ;)
Third, i's like to ask..... the sexy handle says you need Lady Killer and Penetrator for it..... but my female character can't seem to get it. Does the mod know the difference between the two genders... i.e. that Black Widow is the female equivalent or is it only looking for Lady Killer??
Look at all the videos. Notice how often it misses? The sights suck bad. If you don't mind a weapon you have to use V.A.T.S. to be effective it's okay. Sure is pretty though.
I looked so long for a pistol that looked like the S.T.A.K.E. from Resident Evil 8, I'm so glad I finally found it ! With its overpowered damage and fairly hard to get ammo at the beginning of the game, it's great at replicating the Magnum type of weapon (most powerful weapons in the game but can only hurt one enemy at a time + rarest type of ammo) from the RE games ! Thank you for your work !!
Could someone explain to me how I can reduce the recoil on the Wildey to match the .44 Magnum revolver's using the Creation Kit? Tried modifying it via the receiver I want and it didn't do a darn thing. I also want the crazy screen climb adjusted if the recoil adjustment doesn't fix that
Why would you want to make another .44 Magnum? A Wildey is a Wildey, it's an icon. It's an elephant gun in handgun form. It should fire like it. If it just fires like a .44 Magnum, despite it having nearly twice the energy - you don't have anything special in your hands - what you have is a cheat.
lead?!?! are you sure that maybe copper it is more right? The .475 Wildey Magnum was designed to be a hunting round. Cases are formed from .284 Winchester brass with the neck cut down and widened to take a .475" bullet, and the length is the same as the .45 Winchester Magnum. the neck is made of copper https://www.usafirearmscorp.com/x/cdn/?https://storage.googleapis.com/wzukusers/user-27223585/images/58bb6705439f4ACboHs2/IMG_8842.JPG

Version 1.2 fixed the 3rd person power armor animations and added a new clue for the quest.
Version 1.3 smoothed the 3rd person reload animation, reduced the base damage, and improved the accuracy.
NOTE: my textures are designed to look their best without an ENB. All of my screenshots are taken using standard graphics.
