Very nice mod providing simple and realistic way to secure borders of the settlements.
Many textures, manual and auto gates.
The only problem I have after using this mod in several builds is that snapability of this is very hard and so far I didn't find any way to jump through it. Just something to have on your mind that struggling to connect pieces in the way you want is a real thing.
I also recommend to use mod (if it's safe for stability) that makes settlement borders more normal or distant from buildings because sometimes there's no straight way to make it not to look weird.

OMG I can't believe I only just discovered this recently, after getting back into FO4 for the Next-Gen update!  *bonks self on head*

Frickin' amazing work on this, GrafPanzer!
The variety of sloped pieces and the ability to position pieces at 45°s has saved my sanity and design OCD, hhnngg!
Workin' flawlessly for me (Steam / Manual installation)!
THANK YOU for this mod! Endorsed and Kudos!    :D

For any new to modding, and may be interested in a Manual install:
    Spoiler:
    Show
1 - Manual download the Main File.  ('Graf's Security Fences' Version 1.5.2)

2 - Extract the archive. You will get a folder named:  Graf's Security Fences-39252-1-5-2-1644765397

3 - Inside this folder are 6 other folders:
    ESPs
fomod  (ignore this folder; not needed)
    Materials
    Meshes
    Scripts
    Textures

4 - Inside the 'ESPs' folder, choose the plugin you want, and copy it into the game's 'Data' folder (i.e. '.../Fallout 4/Data'):
GrafsSecurityFences.esp - if you use SMM (Settlement Menu Manager)

5 - Copy the last 4 folders (Materials, Meshes, Scripts, Textures) into the game's 'Data' folder (i.e. '.../Fallout 4/Data').

6 - Enable the 'GrafsSecurityFences.esp' plugin, via your plugins.txt file, or via the in-game 'Main Menu > Mods > Load Order' method.

    Done.

If anyone is having a issue with loading mods, I had to do a clean uninstall of the game, and re-install vortex fixed my issue! It was not this mod

So I have no clue what I am doing wrong. I "Install" the zip file using MO2, and enable it and all, however no matter how I install them, they are always coming up "blank". Like the icons don't show up in the build menu, and select a lot of times doesn't work. I was able to get them partially working, in the sense I could build them, but the icons and the models themselves are missing

Same issue. Did you ever get this fixed? I even tried starting a new game with no mods (except SKK Fast Start), but nothing. I thought perhaps the next gen update might've broke something but other people seem to have got it working.

Ayy, buddy I'm not sure why this works, but adding these two lines to the Fallout4Custom.ini file fixed it for me.

I know it's been a few months since you posted, so I hope this gets to you. Apparently more than a few mods need this. I would really love to know what they do or why this work, but hey they'sa workin'! At least for me. Hope it works for you!

Where is this Fallout4Custom.ini file  I can't seem to locate it.  I'm on PC and use Vortex if that matters.  Never mind I found it, thankyou very much.

For PC, Fallout4Custom.ini is usually located here:

Documents --> My Games --> Fallout 4 --> [ini files]

Note: I didn't make any changes to where the installer wanted to put the game files, so this is 'probably' the default location. I am unsure if these ini files will be in the same location if you manually chose a different install path.

I have tried every single thing to fix this problem. Everything is invisible. The workshop items still do pop up but they are invisible. I turned off all of my mods to see if they were the one causing this issue and it still kept happening. The same thing happens with a few other mods. It seems these type of workshop mods just don't work for me. Any help would be great.

Edit: Some other mods affected are northland diggers, WPD, Grafs security fences and Cattle feeders filled. It only seems to happen to mods that need settlement menu manager

I absolutely love this mod. my only problem is 2 of the fences is at the beginning of the list then its the vanilla trash then its the rest of the fences. just wish those 2 were next to the other ones.
