There is an option in Cheat Terminal to keep items (infinite items?) - reportedly with that enabled, crafting a piece of power armor will go into an infinite loop and most likely crash your game.
I suggest that you either turn off that particular cheat when crafting power armor or use version 1.0, which gives armor with random mods added - because there is no fix for this.
The reason: To avoid having random parts (T-45 with F armor upgrade for example) added to created armor pieces this mod creates a "placeholder" item. When that is added to the player's inventory it is detected and replaced with the real item drawn from a leveled list (which has no random parts added, so you always get for example T-45 base item).
Since your Cheat Terminal settings are putting the "placeholder" item back into the player's inventory, you have an infinite loop.
this mod must be broken because i can not find any of the tapes. i found the first power armor in the video but with no way into the room knowing where the room is is pointless info. ill have to look for a mod that works that i can use. if there was a cheat that let you get the tapes that would be good but theres nothing i can do with this.
the video that comes with this mod is no help at all .
i wounder when if at all this broken mod will be fixed
i had to download the thing fresh a second time and it seems im still missing half the mod. the train at tenpin bluff is there and atom cats is there .
the first location in the video he shows? the door says you need to find a computer to open the door and there are no computers that open that door. i will give you 2 guess as to where that computer is. it is in the the locked room you need to get into .
now i do not know about you but last i looked you did not have the ability to break walls and doors with your guns . this is like locking a door and sliding the key to that room under the door .
keep in mind that the room in the video has a power armor but its not clear if the tape is even there or not.
that first location in the video he starts the video already in the room so unless you can break down a wall to get in or can telaport in you have no way in the room to even see if the tape is there or not .
so you have 2 real locations and 1 possible location but with no way to enter . if the guy just wanted to have just the 2 locations then why not just say that and not show fack locations .
i seem to still have to get another mod if i want the new armors like the hellfire because this mod doesn't have them
Or you could, you know, complete the Creation Club quest which gives you access to that room so that you can collect the Creation Club Power Armor which is inside that room - and in the process pick up the tape that this mod also puts into that area.
1.2c is the power armor crafting for the Creation Club armors. Requires all of the old Creation Club power armor + the 1.2b base game power armor crafting.
The Black Devil PA is on top of the Devil’s Terminal, I think that it was shown in the video. The Hellfire PA is downstairs in Listening Post Bravo - don’t miss the “flavor note” upstairs on the drum before the elevator.
Dunno if you will see this but gunna ask here anyway. Just downloaded and found the raider holotape. Problem comes with finding the right bench. I can make the armorsmith bench (a variety of them) but it only shows one of my clothing mods i have installed. I can seem to use the universal bench but it just shows everything without having to find the holotapes. I can make it work this way as I really want the mod but I would like to have to earn it at least. If you see this or someone else does that knows what is wrong let me know.
Yeah I was able to figure that out but the armorsmith bench from standalone only has an outfit for my PC nothing for the PA. THere are like 4-6 of the table in varying "skins?" Unfortunately I don't get back all the materials and the animation to check is a tiny bit long so I haven't gone through every single bench or table that i can make to see which ones might have the recipes.
Of note I did look at the picture provided to try to use the armorsmith bench with the same model (like second or third bench i tried) and again only an outfit that i can otherwise make in the chem station.
Could it be a problem with AWKCR? I just saw the two different patch files available in the mods requiring list. just installed one. I'll see if it works.
I don't know if i made this bench before but one of the armorsmith benches worked. shows both my unlocked raider and t-45 PAs. there are like 5 armorsmith benches at the start of the crafting menu then one towards the end of the menu. The one at the end has PA helmets on it and no fire bin on the left. Of note I'm about 70% sure I built that one before and it wasn't there. (sorry was hours ago and I have yet to sleep)
Isn't the Raider one just an extra ton of scrap metal welded, tied with steel beams, and bolted to the frame? I swear one of them tried using an oven for the chassis.
Hi! Could we get patches for; -CC's Raider Horse (Raider armour piece + Giddyup parts). -CC's X-02. -CC's X-03. -CC's CC-00 (Put the schematics as the most expensive thing in the Overdue book styled exchange machine.). -NewerMind43's EXC-17 Excavator Power Armor.
First of all like the mod but the costs are kinda outragous. 500 steel for a chestpiece? Thats little too extreme. Love the mod eithsr way. Can yoh tone it down in an uldate?
I do understand where you're coming from. My first iteration before releasing this was way less cost steel-wise.
Then I realized: When building a settlement it takes 6 steel for a cruddy corrugated-iron shack roof that is 10-20% holes and a good 1/3rd of the rest is barely-holding-together rust that you can effectively spit through. This stuff is in no way high-quality alloyed steel that is 1+ inch thick and capable of stopping or slowing down a .50 caliber bullet or gauss rifle round.
It is my thinking that refining 200+ year old rusting corrugated iron that's been torn off a roof into high-quality steel is going to involve a heck of a lot of wastage. Even more when you consider that the Sole Survivor is doing this in his backyard, not in a professional steel foundry. So both lore-wise and reality-wise I can't justify reducing the high steel cost by any substantial amount.
It also has the benefit of keeping Power Armor special, while allowing the player to save up enough steel to create the last couple of pieces that he just can't find.

Will look into the CC stuff tonight.
I have bought the CC armors. It will be a while before I can get the time to do much - a bit swamped.
Enjoy those official armours.
Yeah, I’m doing the Captain Cosmos now. Will get the rest done as I get the prior one completed. Only 6 months, sheesh...
