Can this be made to be portable and deployable? That would be great. There is a "deployable spotlight" that comes with the deployable turrets mod but it shines light only when enemies are near by.
Yes they are noisy they use same exact idle sound file as any of the mechanical turrets. Which is the stock engine idle sound.. Even the wall mounted ones you get from Automatron use this sound which makes no sense as any other wall mounted spotlight in the game is silent.
Another problem is that this sound is hardcoded into the animation file as i discovered with help of other modder making it difficult if not impossible to change which idle sound should a specific turret play.
So only way to make Spotlights silent is to mute the sound file which mutes every single turret in the game too that uses this file. Some may like that but i just wanted to mute the wall mounted Spotlights and just quiet down the other turrets by 25% :<
I have a question that I hope you might be able to shed some light on. My spotlight turrets set up around my settlement look awesome, but whenever I walk a certain distance away from any of the spotlights, they completely stop rotating and the light stays where it's at - what I assume is the culling of out of sight assets.. Is there any way to increase the distance you have to be from a spotlight before it will be culled?
Thank you very much. I am a Chinese player. Your change is very reasonable. I like it very much. Then the torch of the gun is not illuminated far enough, or the light is not complete after it is too far. Do you know what happened?
I seem to remember the wall-mounted spotlights from the Automatron DLC being bugged and not rotating after fast traveling. Does this mod fix that problem?
