So I've been playing this game now for years, I love the amount of craftablility that it has and I couldn't get enough so I went on the hunt to find as many things to craft as possible and then found this mod when I wanted to create more beverages. after downloading this mod I spent a little over 3 hours wandering aimlessly trying to find grapes and potatoes and other ingredients but have found none of them. my next thing is to try and see if vendors will have any but I was wondering if anyone could help me out by letting me know where I can find these grapes and potatoes so I can plant them in my gardens. please and thank you
I use Ground and Wild Plants Farming. Just a thought, but maybe getting permission to integrate them/removing redundancies to have them as companion mods would be cool. They'd go really well with this mod, I think.
When you say compatible with Drinking Buddy, does that mean we can get Ice Cold Berry Booze by storing it in him or that we can teach him the recipe?
Unless you plan to add Ice Cold variants where they don't exist, I have found a mod called 'The Fridge' that does this. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/13296
I would really love Sunset Sarsaparilla and Ice Cold Sunset Sarsaparilla without having to have the entire Wasteland Imports mod (not even sure it has Ice Cold). Some drinks from 76 would also be cool but I'm getting away from myself there.
Deezer's Lemonade and Berry Booze are definitely not cooling. I've switched to working fridges and made the request for Deezer's Lemonade, Dirty Wastelander, Refreshing Beverage and Ware's Brew but (Cait's) Berry Booze (as I think it should be called. Deezer's/Bobrov's/Ware's & Cait's) is yours so I bring it up to you.
So, I really like the idea of this mod, it is a lot of fun - with items ranging from "ok, that is cool" to "woah.....".
A simple question, then a suggestion;
Question; Why is there a landscape texture in here? \Beverage Workstation\textures\landscape\ There is a grass and cracked earth.I am guessing they are beta versions for something.... (took me a while to find these ...had not expected grass changes in a soda mod....)
Suggestion: I get that this is part of a larger mod project - that is really cool. After all, sometimes we don't want to install a dozen mods to get a single cohesive change. However, one of the drawbacks of larger mods - is that a player may only want a certain aspect - and not all the other changes - and the greater the scope, the more likely this can be.
So, in other words, if you are planning a larger scale crafting mod - that is very cool, as they can add a lot to the game. But I would also suggest keeping the beverage cart (or at least a version of it) on its own, for those who might already have other overhauls, but still want to take advantage of your fun drink cart ideas.
Regardless, thanks for the mod - it is a lot of fun and obviously a lot of hard work has been put into it.
When I first saw the Fountain Soda, before reading it's description, I immediately thought it was the Vault 88 Cola from the Overseer's experiment. (You should totally add that)
Can you figure out an immersive unlock/discovery system? No Bobrov's Best Moonshine before Diamond City, no Berry Booze before The Slog, no Nuka before the recipe books at NW (or leave them in the DLC station exclusively), no Vim before the factory (your unique green station only?), no Deezer's Lemonade before Covenant and no Gwinnet before Buddy's holotapes. Just some sort of immersive arrangement.
Thinking about it, I feel like only the generic 'Beer', Dirty Wastelander, and Boiled Water (some '76 continuity and common sense showing there); should be available straight out of the vault. But you do you, I'll keep checking in.
I don't mean to act like Bethesda but this mod is part of a larger mod I'm working on. I will be adding conditions to items after I'm sure everything works. For Instance making the Benches unlock my picking up a ''Textbook" in one of the trailers near Vault 111. I hadn't thought about adding the actual Sodas from Vault 88 but now you have peaked my interest. I will look up the effects and add them on the next update. But like I said, I know how to add conditions to unlock items I just don't want to add them until I'm sure it works.
Great, that's awesome, as long as I know it's coming I'll keep it in my tracking center.
I'm just a sucker for immersion, I don't use Crimsonrider's Accessories because having Kellogg's arm brace and DiMA's implants in my chemistry station straight out of the vault is weird haha, for example.
Thanks, I'll try and get conditions to work on it, I just didn't think it was logical to be restricted to the Soda you chose for the experiment after having techncially seen the recipe for all three.
In all seriousness, it looks great! Would be great for a bar/pub item for settlement stores. I'm just a bit concerned that it'll conflict with other mods that overhaul locations, especially of Goodneighbour and Diamond City, since you have stills in them.
Your mod Farm to Table piques my interest! With 0 context outside this description, the name alone reminds me of the Commonwealth Livestock mod that never really came to be completed.
Farm to Table is a large version of this that will add some Animals from a Skyrim mod that has permission to import. Basically will add Pigs. maybe Sheep and Horses that will Spawn like the Brahmin Trough, each Animal will be harvest-able for meat. I'm also adding food that makes some otherwise unused ingredients useful. The Animals will be used in quest for Viva Nuka World. The stills I placed should be out of the way of overhaul mods. I'll punch out some patches that move or remove the stills if enough people ask.
heya, this looks fun & immersive... a lot more immersive then going to the qa smoke room and grabbing 200 of each :P any chance u could make this as a .esl or a .esl flagged .esp ? ( i tried converting it myself but it wouldnt let me due to masterfiles )
