I added an alternate version of the esp to the optional files section which will move the inventory items to the MISC section to avoid accidentally scrapping. (Following EighmyLupin's lead).
I didn't do this originally because the downside is you won't be able to scrap them anymore, which means to scrap ANY of each of the item types you'll have to have one of my version in your inventory. So you'll have to weigh which version of the ESP is more beneficial to you.
PROTIP: If you use Mod Organizer 2 and install the patch in a separate folder below the main mod, you can switch between the 2 versions of the esp by ticking and unticking at will, and have the best of both worlds.
This mod is amazing and I'm very grateful for it. No lugging around cumbersome camping gear or struggling to find furniture to wait out a particularly nasty rad storm or foggy night. Just a single teddy bear. It's awesome. Thank you!
Hey guys, Tentacus here. A while back I lost the password to this account and because it was associated with an old e-mail I didn't have I was unable to recover and told to use a different account so... TA-DA.
Anyway I am here today to mention that My new mod https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/46172 allows you to sit or sleep anywhere without the use of an object. It's much better coded and I'd highly recommend you use it instead if you are Okay with having AAF as an extra requirement. It also allows you to see yourself sit or sleep unlike this mod, among other things.
This is great. I feel the same way about camping mods: I like the idea, but the amount of gear you get to play with always seems unrealistic. This solves two problems I have with camping mods; one, the crazy amount of stuff, and two, the sheer amount of time it takes to set up a camp.
Plus, this is the wasteland, people would be used to sleeping wherever they can find.
Edit: I added the "Notjunkjetammo" Keyword and removed the components and that moved them to the Misc tab, so I wouldn't accidentally scrap or store them.
Really, many thanks for this. I like to roleplay my character as the world is. She is not a militar woman that carries lots of survival things and etc, and i downloaded a mod for sleeping bag but i already removed it from my inventory. Several times i wanted to carry a pillow to sleep with it, and now i can!!!
If you feel the wasteland, you'll see that a character should lean on any dirty corner and sleep for the night. Beds should be there only for the well rested status. This may look small, but is a great mod for immersion/roleplay purposes!
It behaves like the Vanilla beds so by default, no.
For all I know though, if you use a mod that lets you see yourself sleep it might, depending on how that mod is implemented. However if you tell a companion to use them they will lie down just like in the vanilla game. I sat the markers in an appropriate way so for instance they'll lie down behind the Teddy Bear, or with their head on the pillow.
BTW: If you want to create more than one "Your pillow" (or Teddy Etc...) Just drop your current one before picking up another vanilla pillow. Then you can pick up both functional versions.
nothing wrong with being just functional :) my only concern is accidentally scrapping it because its classified as junk. a personal pillow or teddy bear would kinda be a personal item, and maybe even cleaned up a bit if one wants a bit of a rested bonus xD but that's all visual, as i'm the visual fellow
By default no. However if you use the mod "Survival options" https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/14650 And change the setting for sleeping bags you can.

I made a little bat file for objects.
Any text file add the following
setangle x 0
setangle y 0
setangle z 0
Name it position, or whatever you want, something you can remember.
In game, open the console, click on the object, type bat position or whatever you named it. Works for any dropped item as far as I know.

Great mod, endorsed.

Thanks for the question.
¿Does it allow 8 hour sleep on Survival game? ¿grants well rested status?
Tnx
