I'm glad you did this :) I've never used explosive vents because landing too close to people without it is dangerous enough. Do you have a video showing that it works?
I don't know anything about screen-recording, and I don't see any reason to, there's not really much to show. If you've got the Explosive Vent mod on your power armor and you're in combat, you get the explosion effect same as you do without the mod. If you have the vent mod on your armor and perform a heavy landing outside of combat, it'll be as if you didn't have the vent mod, you'll just get a regular heavy landing impact.
Old comment but let me add that "no aggro impact landing" might work with this mod to totally eliminate any chance of turning non hostile npc's against you. (testing right now)

Good question. If you want me to guess, UnoffFo4P probably only inserts some sosrt of bugfix in the script, but it's probably no big deal, so in that case you can probably overwrite it with my script. The risk would be if there is some other script that somehow depends on the PowerArmorFXScript in some way, in which case it may be that overwriting it with my script breaks that somehow. I don't know, it was a long time ago I made this mod, I barely knew anything about coding, and I've forgotten pretty much all of it, I'm a very easily confused person, I don't feel as if I can really check this myself. I suspec it's PROBABLY fine to overwrite, but I don't truly know.
Love the idea.. wish this could be combined with "No Power Armor Landing Impact Or Root Animation Effect Damage" (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/18422) to where, you don't get rooted, and no animation is played unless in combat. There was a discussion between "SangRahl" and the mod author "BecauseBotFed", about changing the height and velocity needed to activate the root and animation effect. I agree, a bit annoying to jump over a car and then you're sprinting is canceled and you're stuck like that. Just a thought. Love the mod. Thank you for your time.
I'm a little bit confused by the idea. Are you saying you'd want the "heavy" landing/"superhero landing" to only happen in combat? Meaning that you would not get them outside of combat, even if you're jumping off a tall building? Seems strange to me, I've allways enjoyed the feeling of being really heavy in power armor, so even if the animations feel a bit clunky, it also gives you a sense of weight, consequence and immersion.
