This mod is still in my game and always will be as long as I play Fallout 4.

There are two more improvements needed.

RADchickens and RADrabbits need immunity to radiation. For the love of Pete, their flesh is itself radioactive so they dar=ned well adapted. Also, even sim settlements patched Automatrons tend to attack them and that's silly.

I am looking through my settlement mods to see why II am getting completely random crud for stats in my pip-boy display but far more accurate info in Workshop Mode in the actual settlement. Are your chickies/bunnies/mousies counting as settlers for anyone?

This is a limit of the game engine, and isn't triggered by this mod (or any others, in fact). You can't really solve it, but you can stick around the settlement until the update script runs it's full course. That could take a very long time (up to 20 mins of real time, I'm told), or longer depending on how fast your settlement stats are improving or declining.

A very fulsome answer can be found here:

Can you make them immune to drowning? Make a plot with any water feature and it'll soon be full of dead chickens!

I looked into this briefly. I did not see away to make a creature swim. Maybe someone can help with the info. Edit: Found they already marked as swims so not sure why they die in water.

Individual agricultural plots can be set to not spawn chickens. You have to ask the mod developer to make the change or put it in yourself with FO4Edit. Tinuvia has done this in the Always Free Sim Settlements MrJoseCuervo Addon Pack for the fog farm and fish farm plots. If you look into the Misc. Item the property bAllowCritters is set to false for the SimBuildingPlan script.

I use the mod Settlement Tidy Bot with the new auto cleanup option to removed dead bodies and it works on chickens.

Is your water radioactive by any chance?

I appreciate the thanks post but note I have more thank posts than endorsements. Endorsements help drive traffic and are a fast way for a mod developer to judge interest which leads to updates and other mods.

Thanks for this. Rampant hordes of chickens strutting around was always a bit of a bother to me. Hopefully they'll stay where they're wanted.
