Why isn't this pistol in 10 mm like the one in the movies? You didn't even give a 10 mm receiver mod. Nope if this was the PPK .38 would be fine or the PPX in 9 mm but IMO the only cartridge the PPQ needs is 10 mm. With the others as weak options. (Oops my bad the variant in the movies was .40 S&W). Sorry there is no 10mm Though .40 is 10mm light.
Oooh, been looking for the PPQ in FO4...I'm going to add 9x19mm, .40 S&W and .45 ACP chamberings to it using FO4edit to add some realism (Munitions patch for the 9mm & .40 S&W).
I'll submit some screenshots once I've got it working.
I actually have this pistol in 9mm. Very accurate and very good trigger. Fun to shoot IRL, and now I can shoot supermutants in the face with it. Nicely done. :)
Yes, I do plan on adding other sights (sugh as night sights and the much revered reflex sights and red dot sights). currently getting school and work scheduled settled in, then I should be good to continue working on the mod other than texture edits.
I actually own one of these, so it was a "must download". Looks good in game! Could be some of my other textures messing with it, but it looks grainy in the crafting menu. No biggie though. I'm endorsing for the idea and execution. Love my PPQ!
There was actually a version of the P99 that was developed for police over in Germany called the P99QA (stands for Quick Action). Eventually some of the features were redesigned such as the grip, the cocking method, front slide serrations which were displayed in the P99 RAD. Eventually this evolved into the PPQ. Many people see the PPQ as more superior firearm to the P99. Sorry for the long post, kind of a gun nut lol. If you're interested in it, here's the wikipedia article, they also go into detail further on the creation of the PPQ from the P99. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walther_PPQ
