About this mod

Forget about ever having to manage your food and drinks again. No more filling up your favorites and hotkeys with steaks, stews, and stimpaks. Always opening up your pip-boy to find the right thing to eat or use to heal up? Don't worry about it! Let Quick-Aid decide for you based off what you need at the moment and your desired preferences.

Quick-Aid is a consumable item that you can favorite to any hotkey, but what Quick-Aid does is instantly compares the Food, Drinks, and Aids such as Stimpaks and Radaways that you have in your inventory to a few different customizable lists of acceptable consumables to use, and determines based on your health, radiation, AP, and limb damage which consumable(s) would be best to use, and uses it for you. With so many various tunable settings, you can guarantee that Quick-Aid will always choose the most suitable consumable for you. The best way to get a feel for it is to just try it!

I got tired of going through all the effort of collecting and cooking food just to end up using Stimpaks 95% of the time, so I created Quick-Aid.

Technical Features:
    * Quick-Aid gets added to your Inventory/Aid automatically when the mod is installed.
    * Add to any hotkey / favorite, press to use. Reusable, stays in your inventory.
    * Configurable with MCM.

How it Works:
    * There's a few different default lists which contain consumable items and they've been split up by categories (you can customize these):
        - Regular Food (These are low-mid health cooked food like radroach steaks with no added bonuses)
        - Potent Food (These are high health cooked foods like Stingwing Filets or Deathclaw Steaks that have added bonuses)
        - Rad healing Food (Currently just Mutthound Chops heal rads.)
        - Pre-War Food (This is irradiated packaged food)
        - Raw Food (Tato, Corn, Raw Meat, etc. also irradiated)
        - Nuka-Colas
        - Alcohols
        - Stimpaks & Radaway
- [Valuable Foods like Preserved Pre-War foods are not used by Quick-Aid, so you can sell/keep them if you choose]

    * Depending on your current needs, Quick-Aid might combine between 0 and 1 consumable from each list to "prepare your meal"
--Health Less than 20%: If Available, use Stimpak + Potent Food (If potent food isn't available, use regular food; If regular food isn't available but you have last resort food, use that.)
--Health Between 20% and 35%: If Available, just use one Stimpak. Otherwise use Potent Food (If potent food isn't available, use regular food; If regular food...[same as above])
--Health Between 35% and 50%: If Available, use Potent Food (If potent food isn't available, use regular food; If regular food...[same as above])
--Health Above 50%: Just use Regular Food
--Radiation Greater than 335: If Available, use Radaway + Rad Healing Food
--Radiation Between 250 and 335: If Available, just use one Radaway. Otherwise use Rad Healing Food
--Radiation Between 50 and 250: If Available, use Rad Healing Food
--Health Below 60% and AP Below 20%: Add a Nuka-Cola if Available

    * Features:
- By Default, Pre-War Food, Raw Food, and Alcohols are not consumed because they are harmful -- But you can enable these individually in the MCM settings if for instance you have the Ghoulish or Lead Belly perk.
- If you're health is above 97% then no consumables will be used, never waste food again! (This feature is disabled by default in Survival so you can keep eating/drinking after full health)
- Enable a 10% chance to consume alcohol in addition (Enable in the settings, disabled by default. You can change the % chance also.)
- Use Pre-war / Raw Food as last resorts if no other food or drink remain. Settings for which to use (or both) and in what order.
- When you have crippled limbs, a stimpak will be used automatically to cure the limb, regardless of current HP (this feature can be disabled in the settings)

    * Other MCM Options:
- Never use Stimpaks
        - Never use Radaways
        - Never use Nuka-Colas
        - Never use Rad healing food
        - Never use Regular food
        - Never use Potent Food
- Option to Rename Item to better work with Sorting Mods

    * Upcoming Features:
- Reorder and exclude items for these lists: Regular Food, Potent Food, Pre-War Food, Raw Food, Nuka-Colas, Alcohols.
        - Create and use a custom "Restocking List" that automatically refills your inventory with the selected consumables and quantities from a specified container.
- Define a container to act as your consumables container instead of your inventory, you don't need to carry your consumables!
- Support for DLC foods
- Next Version: More consistency in the default order of items in the lists (I tried to order it weak to strong, and simultaneously heaviest to lightest -- getting rid of the weakest+heaviest foods first)

    *Notes:
- Item Renaming for Sorting: After you hard-restart your game, your Item Sorting name will be reset -- using Quick-Aid will automatically re-apply the correct name. This is a limitation of SKSE and the SetName() function.

    * Disclaimer: While there's no reason why this wouldn't work in Survival Mode, just remember that it was tailored towards non-survival mode and some of the choices may not be good fits for survival.
