Amazing how the smallest things can make QOL so much better! I always hate using the fuel generators on account of noise, and I always end up making buildings for them, too, since they're a little unsightly. Now I can produce cleaner, not-so-noisy power for my settlements without occupying so much space. Thanks!

Also, just wondering judging by your screenshots, do you use Place Anywhere? Do you also use a mod that increases the settlement budget? If so, which one?
This mod gave me an idea: windmill water purifiers. all in one water production. basically just purifier models with a windmill on top that requires no power.
on that note the water pumps shouldn't require power. they have fuel engines on them. that never made any sense.
See, I adore mods like this to death. I'll take this over a massive overhaul or fancy gun with a million mods any day.
It's just a matter of finding something that feels needed that hasn't been figured out yet.
Like when someone realized "Hey, just make the fenceposts in Skyrim all vertical and it stops that flickering" like 18 years after the game came out.... lol

I used the console to up the budget.
