Yo I just want to say, this is amazing! A lore-friendly way to get these cores and even better ones, plus if you don't care, just use the perpetual one. Unlike all other mods that just extend the normal one with no requirements, this makes an immersive and fun way to get these long lasting cores. I honestly don't know why this mod isn't more popular. Also, I still see that you need to work on the recharging, however you haven't done any updates in 8 years, so I don't know if my words will reach out to you. Either way, thank you!

      Much thanks!
AFAIK (this is all provided you are on PC) the only thing wrong was jetpacks still eating threw the perpetual core (and I wanted to make an actual quest when CK was out lol).
With the new show out, I started a new play threw sooooo we'll see what happens XD

I tried crafting the workbench, but despite consuming the materials to construct it nothing appeared. Any idea what the heck is going on?

I'm also getting this issue, with the PS4 version. Which makes the whole damn mod useless. Why was this never addressed?

I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume this issue STILL hasn't been fixed. I can't figure out why I can't build the workbench in any of my settlements. I have the materials for it, but it just won't show up.

Do you have to have the Nuka World DLC for this mod to work?

I suppose this is the next best spot to ask. Is there a mod for unbreakable power armor that you need to earn? An upgrade or variant that needs some effort put into getting it? if anyone has a suggestion please reply

just wondering, do you know if this is compatible with the mod "Fusion Cells are Batteries"? because it seems like this and that one might be quite nice if they were

One of the only posts I've ever made, but i thought it worth to ask, since i see you are still active at times. Is there any way to easily make it without the gatling laser implementation? I couldn't find a menu for it or whatever. Basically wondering if there is a menu, or if it would be easy enough for a small walkthrough to change it myself using FO4Edit with having never used it before. it's nothing major enough that i would ask you to release a separate version, but i prefer it the other way. The way it is with this mod removes the unique-ish effect of the Aeternus from Nuka World. its a bit finicky/buggy, but the jist is that it gives the gatling laser a (buggy) true unlimited ammo with the never ending legendary effect. If not, i may potentially still use the mod and suck it up that it will be a normal version of the effect. Either way getting endorsed just i like it anyway. Thanks in advance =)

PS. to anyone who is wondering about the same thing, if you decide to not use the mod, the way to make the Aeternus not 'buggy' is to have whatever your gatling core capacity is +1 (base 500, more with perks and such). It makes the currently 'equipped' core ammo into #cores-1, so it will make your equipped cores stay at 100/100. A bit of a ***** without cheats, but it will make it function as what i would assume is intended. may or may not work with partial fusion cores + at least 1 full, haven't tested.

EDIT: you know... I'm going back to fallout 4 with a fresh game after not playing for quite a while, and one other mod i was looking at that i didnt have that i almost forgot about is a vanilla unique weapon overhaul type. It changes the Aeternus anyway, BUT if there is a simple solution, please still answer, because with legendary modification mods, maybe i can recreate it from a normal one.

Sooo this mod was designed before creation kit was even out, let alone nuka world or any addons. And while it has been updated with the CK, I havent had the time to get into the Beths addons yet.
Sadly due to the new cores this mods adds and how they interact with the Gatling Laser, it wasnt possible to really do without overhauling the Gatling laser as well since fusion cores are shared by both.
I think the problem with the Aeternus weapon is that it's using the new modded cores (which yes can give you unlimited ammo, and a whole lot of other issues) instead of its regular ammo aka gattling ammo. If you're handy with xEdit it's an easy patch to make the weapon use the gattling ammo (which it just a re colored normal fusion core) instead of the modded cores.

I should have time in the next few days to knock out a quick patch.
