I'm locking the comments for this mod. Please do not contact me about this mod. It'll remain on the Nexus for those that have or can find the original mod to use this with.
NOTICE: June 29, 2020 - This mod will never be standalone. To use the Clicker sounds, I would be using stolen assets. (Other game assets being used without proper permission.) Sorry, everyone. You can try Googling for the original mod to use this one with. See if you can find it somewhere else. But it won't be on the Nexus.
________________________________________________________________________________ NOTICE: April 16, 2019 - The mod this mod requires is currently under moderation. This mod will not work without the other. I'm considering trying to make this mod standalone, but no promises. ________________________________________________________________________________
If you're not also using the main Clickerfied Ghouls mod ( https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16815 ), you didn't follow directions. This mod was made to be used with that one. (Obviously, this mod no longer exists on the Nexus. Try Googling.)
Any and all issues you could possibly have with this mod can be solved by: 1. Ensuring you've properly installed Clickerfied Ghouls by QuazziModo619. It's required. 2. Learning how to use FO4Edit to resolve any mod conflicts and adjusting the volume of the sounds.
Lol. I've since chatted with moderators about the situation. They couldn't *exactly* tell me why the other mod got taken down (because of their policies) but it's pretty obvious. The original mod used sounds from another game without permission. That's not allowed. So I just leave that message stickied up there. Meh. I can't be bothered to change it. :'D
How would I do that without the mod being taken down by the moderators? The original mod had stolen assets. I can't use those sounds. Sorry. I really would love to, because I freaking loved having clicker sounds in FO4. But it's not going to happen. :( Supposedly you can still find the original mod that this one works with if you do some Googling. I haven't checked.
I no longer use NMM, but I just installed both files (one at a time, of course) without any issues with Vortex. I'm sorry to say that I think it may just be you. Although I know NMM can be finicky and moody. Try restarting NMM. If all else fails, try rebooting your computer. You never know.
Well, i installed the files manually (the copypaste thing) and aparently it works. Althoug i only ear the ghouls "clicking" while they atack or die (wich i suposse is part of the another necesary mod) but i dont ear nothing when they are idle, so i guess the thing simply dont work for me.
All I can tell you is that if you don't know how, learn how to use FO4Edit. I mean that in the nicest way possible. You can check for mod conflicts and make edits that can make the idle sounds much louder for you if necessary. If you don't have the other mod (the one by QuazziModo619), you're missing out, and that may be the reason you're having issues. This mod was built to be used with that one. This mod is useless without the other. Otherwise, I don't know how I could assist you. I've been using these mods for several months without issue.
Edit/Update: Actually, this mod doesn't come with audio files at all. All audio comes from QuazziModo619's mod. So if the ghouls don't have idle sounds for you, you have another mod that is overwriting the changes this plugin makes. Please check for conflicts using FO4Edit.
The original mod you need to run this is not in Nexus anymore and I love the creepy clickerfield sounds so I have few questions first anyone know why it's not in Nexus anymore is it because some legal license reasons because the sound is from Last of US? And second do anyone know where I could get it or is it possible to get it from anywhere anymore? Also any plans to make standalone version? And lastly would it be possible to make this clickerfield sound mod work with Terrifyer - Ghouls by: mozbow? For example ferals and/or rad ghouls would make clickerfield sound when not in combat and haven't seen you but in combat using Terrifyer - Ghouls mod sounds
Yeah. I talked to a Nexus moderator. It was copyright issues. I'm no longer playing FO4, but I remember being able to find the original mod just by googling.
I don't condone using "stolen" material. But I know people will do whatever they want, and what others don't know won't hurt them. So I have this mod still posted as a humble service to those that still used the mod before it got taken down from the Nexus. There were quite a few people wanting this after the original author (NkL3) took it down. (I, of course, got permission from them to re-upload it.) Good luck. Have fun. :)
I take it you're not the type to torrent movies and music as well? Everyone does it. There have also been studies that torrenting can increase the popularity of something which then increases the sales. This happens as people show whatever they stole to their friends... who then they buy it themselves cause that's their perception of what makes a good human being or some shit. So because of this phenomenon producers are actually profiting off the theft of their intellectual property.
Let me rephrase... I don't recommend/suggest that OTHER people use "stolen" material. Me? I'm 31... I started using things like Napster at age 10 or 11. And then Limewire, and so on and so forth. I might torrent... but I'd never tell other people to do the same. They have to figure that kind of thing out on their own, and whether or not they are even okay with it. Also, I heard there are some internet companies that will cut off your service and/or fine you if you torrent and such. No idea if that's true, but it's something for newbies to consider.
Anyway, I was mainly saying in my previous post that the main mod probably got posted without permission. And I wouldn't appreciate my mods being out there like that. That's not cool. But... I found it once. So if people really want it, they might be able to find it, too. But I won't do the work for them. (Finding a link, e.t.c.)
This is still posted for people who DO have the original mod, or in case the original mod ever comes out of moderation. I haven't gotten any responses from the author of that mod, though. Doesn't seem like they care about it. If you don't have the mod, just ignore this.
"Not supported" just means I won't be offering support. If anyone has any issues, they need to fix them themselves. I reposted this file as a kindness. I love the Clickerfied mods and I know other people missed the idle sounds when the original author took it off the Nexus. There's a 99.9% chance no one will have any issues at all, as long as they know how to install mods properly.
And yes, you have to use both mods. This mod depends on https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16815 to work. Otherwise, it probably won't do anything that it's meant to.
Edit/Update: I slightly modified the description page to better explain what "not supported" means. I apologize for any confusion.

Should I use both mods together.
