Version 1.01 has field hospital, armoury and mess hall in Sanctuary, Red Rocket Truck Stop, and Starlight Drive-in. Abernathy, and Tenpines are not really big enough to run a large outpost so I didn't add anything to those settlements. If you feel strongly and want them in those locations please leave a post about it and I will consider adding them.
I just wanted to say I appreciate this mod a lot! I am a poor benighted xbox player and my first attempt at using conqueror prebuilds was a struggle due to hardware limitations. This lets me play around in Conqueror with significantly less CTDs (not zero, because, Xbox + Bethesda, but, I still appreciate you + this mod).
A tip to other poor benighted xbox players: even with this mod, maybe don't prebuild EVERYTHING (or even everything minus the ones you normally wouldn't, like RR and Sanctuary). Your game will still be sad sometimes if you try, even with this mod. If I start another playthrough, I'll probably think ahead of time about where I might want to be outposts/vassals, prebuild those, and leave others fallow. Someone who sounded like they knew what they were talking about had some advice here:
Might be an odd question or one that has already been asked but I'm in Abernathy Farm and I only use the simple settlements cause they are amazing, but with Abernathy there are only 8 settlers and I was wondering if the walls that you use are available anywhere so I can maybe extend them and put more residential plots down. I want more people to move there since it's so big but I can't find the walls that you use and every other wall type that I try looks terrible. Thanks for your time!
What I would love to see in the future - are bigger versions. The mods of settlements extended is very popular - but very few SS plans take advantage of that.
Meanwhile I dont want extended settlements anymore. The extra space gives you some safe space for your own plots like ILS stations without the fear of interfering with the CP itself. Just saying..
I can certainly respect and understand the "where can I build something" challenge in city plans. Many times I have to do the level 0, then look at it (unless it has good screen shots in the mod) and figure out where to build my LS.
However, this is an independent issue from wanting bigger settlements (as opposed to them being in the middle huddled up).
Some city plans put out all their foundations at level 0 - so you have a good idea (as described in the description). Others have the foresight to label plots (I have one that has a sign in game, telling you what to build in a space) or other creative ways for communicating the bounds of the settlement. In other words, there are a lot ways to find out where players can build - we just need better info.
For me, personally, a plan that uses the space is more important - and I have found very few plans that do.
Abernathy has a sound emitter (amplified speaker) that plays DC radio.. It's ear deafening loud, cant be disabled by SS settings (e.g performance radio etc) nor by audio settings in the main menu. The culprit is the (designer choice) 'beans for breakfast' plot. Apart from the acoustic terror, the beans are all over the place, cvering the workshop, the weapon bench and others, only bean free space is the plot itself :)
Could someone tell me what the maximum number of settlers each settlement will support per city plan? BTW, I understand that the vanilla formula is 10 + Charisma rank. I need to know what the planned support is. Thanks in advance.
The designs for these are awesome. Have made my games so much more enjoyable, visiting the different settlements!
The walls seem to be getting my provisioners (from the supply lines between settlements) stuck - especially the pack brahmin they carry. It's not game breaking or anything, but is there a way for me to fix this? The big cows always get stuck by the front wall on each settlement ><
