Was wondering, is there a way to make the RUTex for M1a not the default texture for weapons found on NPCs, but rather just one that gives you the option to apply it in the workbench? Every M1a I come across in the Wasteland has the texture, and you know, I just wanna be... special.
Thanks so much for adding the material swap option. It's perfect now. You might also want to mention on the main description page the optional material swap for the M1a, it looks fantastic, and had no idea it was even available until I went in to the files section to download the update. In fact, it looks so good it actually made me think... "Hmmm, maybe I do want to spend $2000 on an M1a just so I can paint it to look like this." Again, nice work!
Can you please upload the uncompressed 4k .psd file for your MK18 retexture please. Because the MK18 retexture has a lot of Purple and green artifacts and is horribly pixelated due to bad compressed.
Unfortunately the problems you are describing seem to be experienced only by you thus far. Being unable to replicate your issue and since nobody else has brought it up, it is reasonable to assume that the problem is caused more by your system and mod setup than with the mod.

I'm using a 4k 65 inch monitor. Most PC gamers are gaming on 24-32 inch 1080p monitors. That's why no one else complained about the compression artifacts.
I re-downloaded and compared the 4k .DDS files from FX0x01's MK18 and the .DDS files from your MK18 retexture. and there is some clearly bad compression artifacts. I even can see it in game. That's why I asked for the original .Psd or .Pdn files. I wanted to export the texture to .DDS with no compression. Yes the file will be huge, But that's how a noob like me exports .DDS files after editing.
Love this. Use it all the time for my playthoughs. But with starting a nuclear winter playthought ths doesnt fit in with snow. Do you know of a snow texture for the ru5.56? Or is there an easy way for me to retex this to make it more for snow?
I had a look in FO4Edit, and this mod alters the reload speed from 1 to 1.5. I wasn't sure why, which was why I came here to look at the posts.
I'm guessing it's the Mod-designer's personal preference, which seems fine to me. In any case, it looks relatively easy to change back, even for a neophyte like me!

EDIT: Nevermind, I reintalled the RU556 and it all went back to normal.
